We've made a game of accruing "fuel points" at Smith's (at the store, via digital coupons, shopping on extra points days) so that we can get $1-off per gallon of gas. We save lots!

Noticed that an item I previously bought went on sale. They didn't want to honor the sale price. Apparently this is their company wide policy per manager 'Brandon' I guess I'm used to shopping at better stores that actually honor sales (weekly ad) prices. Not only that but they do mark items one price and it rings up as a higher price. This store is horrible

Smiths is my go to grocery store in south reno. They have fresh produce, good meats, a variety of great cheeses and their customer service is fantastic! If I ever need help, someone will walk me to what I'm looking for vs at other competitors, just pointing their finger to the other side of the store. Any time I've had a food quality issue, they've made it right and replaced or credited my account. Kroger's line of grocery stores has always delivered and Smith's is no exception!

Great deals and great people working here! I do most of my grocery shopping here. I often go to the deli for a prepared lunch or dinner, as well.

Love, love, love Smith's! We have been customers for many years and have been using their "Clicklist" program for about 5 years, since they started it in South Reno. Friendly employees, convenient services and decent prices (especially with digital coupons). We will be customers for many years to come. Keep up the great service!

This review is strictly for the deli. Smiths is a beautiful store with great meat and produce and also some aggressive sale prices. However their deli is a complete cluster. I came in on 1/2/22 to get some deli meat and cheese. There were no other deli customers and 4 staff members behind the deli counter. They all looked at me, proceeded to keep talking to each other, turned their backs and ignored me. I waited and waited and no one even said we will be with you shortly. Finally, tired of being ignored, I asked if I could place my order and I got a serious dose of bad attitude. They practically threw the food at me and complained that they had to clean the machine when I ordered a second meat. Guess what? That's your job! I don't want to hear you complain about doing the job you were hired for. It's too bad because it's a beautiful deli with a wonderful selection including Boars Head products but I will not be back. It's time to hire some associates with at least a shred of professionalism.

So disappointed with the Pharmacy! The drive up window has been closed for far longer than it needs to be. The pharmacy itself is closed at odd-ball hours - almost as if the place doesn't know good management or how to properly schedule to remain operational. Finally making the move to switch from fckn sh!te service to something else in the neighborhood - this place is not it - it sucks!!! Please go elsewhere if you want to actually get your meds... I'd give ZERO stars if possible

Convenient to my home and I like the products they carry, even the Kroger Brands. But I have had problems in the past with store pick up because I seem to get wilted produce (not what I see on the shelf when I go) and I never get meat items. It seems that the worker does not want to have to pick out meats. They always state that they are "Out". So I am back shopping again and getting a little exercise while I am at it. It has been frustrating that they always seem to run out of digital coupon items and sale items quick. And they are not restocking the shelves. Weekends it is more of an issue. The better the deal the more of a chance you will not find the item in stock. I load everything on my card at home and then pick up in store for convenience. Just like more businesses right now, they are short handed. I do have another grip about the new plastic bags for produce. Not only are they hard to open but if you tie a knot so nothing rolls out, they cashier will have to untie each one to get the code. She mentioned to me that she can not pick up the code through the bag. It really took much longer to ring me up last time I went in. Today I only had a small amount of items and went to quick check. For some reason my digital coupons did not work and the cashier had to help. She was a bit crabby (2pm Monday) and brash. She needs to lighten up and be nice to the customers.

When you shop the sales, they are a pretty good store. Everyone very friendly and helpful. My concern is with the sushi guy. First he does not know the difference between farm raised sushi vs Wild Caught. All Atlantic Salmon is farm raised. For someone who makes sushi to not know the difference between the fish is pretty outrageous. In addition, they are now giving you less sushi rolls. It used to be 12 rolls now it is only 10. It would be helpful if the people making the sushi to know their ingredients and be able to understand what the customer is saying as the sushi guy in this store can barely speak English.... Telling me only use top notch sushi fish but unable to say or understand the difference between farm raised and wild caught. I did not buy any sushi for my family... Nor do zi recommend anyone buy from this vendor. 2 stars of friendly Smiths employees.

9/27/21 This is our go-to Reno supermarket. They have great sale prices (digital coupons) compared to all the other supermarkets in the area. Quality/Quantity - Meat & produce are fresh. Good in-stock conditions. Always able to get what I want at this location. Very small seafood department, but I do not shop there since I typically get my seafood from Costco, which I feel is fresher and of higher quality. Atmosphere - Clean, well stocked. Meat & produce are fresh. Plenty of parking Service - Very good. As a new customer, the team was very patient, signing me up for the loyalty card and teaching me how to use it. Price - Digital ad prices are cheap! Regular sale items are good. Regular priced items are similar to any national supermarket. Owner Suggestion - Kroger is the parent company. This Smiths is run well, please appreciate the manager and their team.
