Smiths pharmacy on south meadows has no care about their customers. They never have a RX ready when they say it will be ready. They say 2 Rx ready by 3pm. I go in at 7pm after work and they say you only have 1 ready. Then they say they can't fill till the next day!!!! I drove in bad road conditions to have a shoulder shrugged. Usually good prices not always in stock with what I need. And a few times I've had to return items that were bad b4 their due date. Staff is always accommodating and friendly though.

They were out of roasted Hatch chilies at the Smith's in Carson and I called this store to see if they had them. After 2 tries, I got someone on the phone that checked stock for me, unfortunately I did not take their name down but they were very kind to do a visual check for me. I know that these holiday days are super busy so I appreciate it. First impression of the store was... it looks waaaay nicer than the Carson store. Everything super clean, flowers super fresh. Christmasy ambiance in full swing still. It's just a well kept store. Made my way to the back to find my Hatch chilies, a few employees passed me by but they were rushing, no "hellos" or "finding everything you need?" It's ok though, I explored a little bit. I did a whole loop around the store. I noticed they have a full olive bar and large variety of imported cheeses!! Had to hold back because my fridge back home was already bursting at the seams just like my jeans if I keep eating like I have been.. anyway, I like this store. The in house made breads are pretty nice looking too. "I'll be back" (in an Arnold voice). After I got my chilies I made a stop at the drink section. I remembered I had to grab sodas. I found the last 2 real sugar Pepsi 12 pk. I read the sale sign wrong. I thought it read "buy 2 get 1 free", so I grabbed 2 of the Pepsi and 1 ginger ale. and I made my way to the register. When the cashier rang them up, all didn't come up with the sale price and I was directed to the customer service desk. I was annoyed thinking I'd have to wait forever to be refunded the one 12 pk. but when I got there I was greeted by a smiling Ms. Kama. There were a few people before me but she was quickly and efficiently moving that line. When it was my turn she pointed out that the sale on the sodas was buy 2 and get 3 free! She had me go grab the other two 12 packs and fixed the error and sent me on my way. It's the employees like Ms. Kama that turn an annoying experience into a positive. They come through for these retailers on the busy holiday season and keep it kind and professional with a smile on their face. Thank you Ms. Kama if you're reading this. You rock!

First off, I am a loyal smiths south meadows customer since 2014. Unfortunately, customer service of the cashiers and management has been lacking for some time- specifically cashier Rebecca and manager Chris. I get they are understaffed and tired but when you are rude and take it out on customers, what does that solve? I go out of my way to avoid Rebecca's line now when she is working.Now the pharmacy is going downhill- they also seem understaffed and overwhelmed. The past two prescriptions i tried to fill here had to be transferred to Walmart due to stock issues. Tech Amanda and Audrey do not have great customer service. Not necessarily rude but very short, placing people on hold without giving them a chance to acknowledge it, hanging up after being on hold for ten minutes, not offering help or solutions just saying "no" and looking at customer for next steps.

I have been shopping with Smith's for over 15 years and it is really going down hill in the South Meadows store. First of all the carts are so dirty and have been since before covid. There are not enough clerks or baggers to help the few clerks that are working. The stockers are filling the shelves in the daytime and they and the cases are always in the way, someone, if they have not already, will fall.

They had a sale on an item that we use a lot on the digital coupons. I'm not the most tech-savvy person. Diane clerk at the self-serve check out, and was so helpful. She navigated me through the process. Diane is a great asset to the Smiths organization.

I love shopping at smith because all the attendants are so helpful and friendly but not this time I was using the self check out and needed help Cody came and help but this guy needs is something else so disrespecting and so condescending . I hope the management will do retraining for this guy.

This store needs help with customer service. A year ago i had way too many items for self scan and i asked a worker walking by if there wad a checkstand open and she went off on me about how she will just end her break early to check me out. I tried to make a complaint then but got no where because somehow its my fault they are understaffed. She could of told me to wait ten minutes and one would be open instead of going off on me.Tonight while checking myself out and having too many items for self scan- i missed 10$ cat litter. I had the checker guy watching everyone already standing over me because i was trying to figure out how to do kroger pay and checking on everyone around me. Never once spoke to me. I finally pay with kroger pay. Walk out and i see him go to the machine a half a second as i walk out. I get across the parking lot and he comes out screaming ma'am ma'am you didn't pay: i said what? I have w recpt he then grabs onto my cart and says I was stealing the cat litter and he was watching me. And that his ststem alerted him to me stealing. First off- no it didn't. And maybe offer some help and say oh you missed this or did you get this while i am standing there for 5 minutes figuring out kroger pay instead of shaming me in the parking lot for a couple dollars. I will never go back to your garbage store. I will over pay at raleys or smiths.

Unfortunately this post is for the pharmacy. And I'm not sure who's in charge but every time I go in there it's always a slow wait to reach the counter to talk to somebody with a grumpy attitude (recently they hired someone new and she seems much better) but the fact that they can't open their drive-through window is ridiculous. I am changing my prescriptions to CVS.

When I called to speak with the manager both the customer service mgr and the store manager Jill refused to listen or even acknowledge their employees actions. I have left a msg for the dist mgr and will post updates. Again - DISCRIMINATION IS PERMITTED AT THIS LOCATION.

Happy to have ventured into Smith's today while my son was across the street at the dentist. I wasn't able to find a specialty item there, but I love going to the bakery and the deli area, and I was very happy to find lady fingers and sponge cake for my trifle recipe I am going to try out for the holidays.Smith's is owned by Kroger, which also owns an online vitamin site, Vitacost, that I frequent quite bit for health food related items and vitamins. I trust that site and hence, I am very happy with the foods that Smith's has in their store.The store is well laid out and always busy. I will be back for my holiday baking needs

Smiths is my go to grocery store in south reno. They have fresh produce, good meats, a variety of great cheeses and their customer service is fantastic! If I ever need help, someone will walk me to what I'm looking for vs at other competitors, just pointing their finger to the other side of the store. Any time I've had a food quality issue, they've made it right and replaced or credited my account. Kroger's line of grocery stores has always delivered and Smith's is no exception!

I am disabled but had to shop by myself. I informed them soon as I walked in. I was amazed by the assistance they provided me throughout my whole shopping experience!
