They have a large inventory and an average assortment that you'd expect to find at a thrift store. The big problem I had was the pricing. By far much higher than other second hand stores and shameful even for a "not for profit" charity outlet.

Pretty standard thrift store that I drop into whenever I am in Reno.Pros:- good selection of clothing- generally pretty clean and organizedCons:- some sketchy folks hanging around outside, had one spit on my car. Don't leave valuables visible in your vehicle.- as with most thrift stores their prices have been consistently been going up so make sure to weight the value of buying something used or buying it now for only maybe 20% more- limited selection of electronics and media (CDs, records, etc.)

They help the Reno community in so many ways it's impossible to say anything negative concerning St. Vincents.

The cashier was so rude to myself and 3 years old foster child as she wanted this mermaid doll so bad the cashier grabbed it and said I can't sell this because it has no price and threw it under the til I asked her if she can look at the other dolls prices and she said sorry no and I walked out with a really sad and crying child she held it thru the whole store so excited for it

I always head here after seeing Goodwill's prices. Sure enough most everything I want is about half the price here. Extensive selection and enjoyable shopping.

I really like this thrift store, sometimes you really got to thoroughly look through things to find what you need but I guarantee you will find what your looking for or something closely similar to it. Everything is really cheap in here except for the beds when they come through lol but I do love it here, the staff is really friendly, polite and respectful to others. Thank you for all your hard work at the st Vincent's thrift store, such a great place.

I have been coming here for years and at one point even attended an orientation for volunteer opportunities. GREAT place for thrifting and donating as well. The store will have a wave of being full to "scarce" of items but that is normal due to donation influx. The store is organized as it can be which makes browsing easier and more efficient. It is also clean which is an absolute plus for a thrift store. The staff are friendly and helpful. The only issue I have come across here is the occassional inconsistencies on their donation hours. I've came to drop off items a few times and they were closed. The last time I dropped off donations, the door was closed so I drove off and returned in the afternoon. When I arrive the door was still closed but someone incidentally came out and I asked if they were open. I was told that they are but they keep the door closed... well dang! Are we suppose to open the door ourselves? Doesn't seem right given that there is no sign to do so *shrug*

These people do so much to help those of us who are going through tough time. I can't thank them enough for the great food items they provided us. If you go there, PLEASE be patient & kind! Some people were jerks while I was there. Remember, they're not obligated to help you.

Finding it harder an harder to justify there prices when it's almost cheaper to buy in New than it is to buy it used!

Great place to donate. Makes you feel good to rethrift versus waste something that someone else can reuse. I prefer to giveaway something that someone else may enjoy.

It Can Be A Hit Or Miss, But, Mostly A HIT!!Susan, this hip, groovy lady, goes above and beyond turning the shoe department into a Paradise. Susan and the other employees are really nice and helpful.Prices are amazingly low, almost every purchase, my items are BRAND NEW, with tags.Your purchase goes to helping those within the RENO Community. Also, there is a boutique area behind the cashier with High End Designer items.Worth checking and investing your time to browse and Buy.
