This place has gone way down hill the prices are high the quality of items are just not there and inventory is so low that they have to space out there items just to make the shelves look full. I would recommend taking your items out of layaway I dont think this place will last too long. Might be filling for bankruptcy soon, I have seen there shady tactics sales and this reminds me of another store that did similar sales with customers. Couple months later store closed and expensive things were not able to be recovered by customers.

It's funny, they ask for a layaway to help their numbers. Then you come in every week and purchase tools and what not. Then they play stupid games when they are closed due to not enough people to be open all day then keep your money. This is the worst pawn shop in Reno. I spend a lot of money and they are going to play games and keep my money. Really? Is this the customer service model?

They took my money and sold me a broken apple pen and as far as I remember they didn't say anything about GET A WARRANTY IF IN CASE IT DOESN'T WORK so when I went back to tell them that pen don't work that's what they keep saying U DIDN'T GOT THE WARRANTY, and even if they don't say anything well guess what ITS UP TO YOU TO BRING THE WARRANTY DEAL, long time costumer but man, those scams they come up with and then they sell stuff that's broken on top of that they are just gold diggers at this point ...
And yeah no stars for ya either but in order to post I gotta put a star ...

Worst pawnshop in Reno total rip offs. Trying to sell items that are used for the same price as brand new. They r way over priced for broken items. They honestly just need to close that location.

Hi if you or someone you know recently purchased this SWR sm400s Bass Head and this Mesa Boogie Powerhouse 1000 Road Ready Bass Cabinet from SuperPawn at 1980 Selmi Dr. Reno NV / Clear Acre Lane and 395 recently around Sept 15th.
The head covers have "V" spray painted on them in the corners
Please PM me I lost it recently moving and would like to purchase it back from you plus your trouble. I've had it since 1992 and has huge sentimental value to me

There is a review also on here from Alejandro from 4 months ago im just relating my experience with Alejandros experience now being submitted it there's people who's straight up been through it god bless google reviews it shouldn't surprise no one I had just gone to location on clear acre and selmi and Alejandro was correct on a few points I had a worker I had brought in three items and extensions I had been passed on one low balled and another which was okay and understandable i guess just the last two things that bothered my spouse and I was a brand new item in a box needed a receipt since it was new I told him can I walk out of the store open it and walk back in no you can't do that so I was surprised I said can I call the manager over ask for a box cutter from you guys on camera professionally cut it open no you can't do that I was surprised again I told him I have to walk inside my house call you guys tell you I'm in my home cut the box open come back and then you'll do business with me and he answered in my opinion sacastic in his opionion probably answered normal we're closed tomorrow so sorry you'd have to come back Monday I thought how sarcastic this guy is but but professional as I wanted to keep it being the customer I just agreed to the sarcastic terms and said I would go home open it and come back I put me in my spouse's name and belongings in harm's Way for this review in feel of my items being involed with mischief i've read past reviews from Alejandro and if they are misplacing and losing stuff I would think they would know who wrote and who sent this as I mentioned I was there to do extensions as well do I feel safe my stuff is in there well i dont know well it was moved there since the location downtown has closed I pray for the staff and The Business to at least have a more welcoming and comfortable environment but that was my experience since the last location has closed it's a new Establishment my items were sent there

You can pick up consoles on the cheaper end and the layways get you 15% off if its a item new to the sales floor

They low ball whatever you trying to sell.there layaway is bull don’t let them sucker you in there layaway they won’t cut you a break if you don’t have the money on time you lose the item and they give back your money but keep 30% of it no matter what you say and you won’t get your full refund. I even ask Kat the manager and she wouldn’t even try to provide any help besides trying to make the customer happy she will tell you no

This is my favorite pawn shop in Reno!!! The service has always been great, fast, and most importantly fun!!! Kat has always been my #1 go to person here but I have been assisted by all staff members. I'd give them more stars if I could! Top customer service representatives and they'll prove it to you once you shop or pawn here.

I've been doing business here at this Super Pawn for 11 years. The selection is great and the value given for pawned items is fair.It's the employees though that make the place.Respect- being given respect and kindness at a time when I'm short on cash is a huge blessing.Management and employees are so good. I've been doing business work "Kat" for years. Never have I trusted that someone is treating me right like she does! Now I have the manage" Maribel" for awhile as well. These women inspire loyalty! Check this Super Pawn out. Even if it's a short drive you'll be glad you did!Cammy P

I’ve been buying and receiving loans here at least 10 yrs. Great deals. Employee Kat oddly for Pawn Shop has devoted customers. Myself, a few friends, and people I’ve met there come because they trust and like her. Maribel is amazing as well. Latest purchase. Last TV was still working great but I upgraded to this one. It’s excellent
