My awesome fiance bought me the new Iphone 15 Pro Max 256 GB for my birthday. She told me if I wanted to upgrade it I could go into the store and exchange it for about $70 bucks to get the 512 GB So you 'd think that would be an easy enough task right? Not here. This place is a such a huge waste of time. It wasn't even busy. I walked in and two people were ahead of me. I ask one of the two employees if there's a waiting list I can sign into and he just scoffs at me like I was wrong for inquiring. About 10 min goes by so this is around 1:40 pm on Sunday November 26. The two people who had arrived earlier were then helped; leaving me to wait as the next person in line. They could have easily asked me what I was there for and informed me they don't carry the 512GB phone in stock. That would have been the end of it, I'd leave and go on with my day. Did that happen you ask? Did Giovanni or Amit have the courtesy or professionalism to do that simple bit of common sense? Of course not. Now I'm not going to assume that these two have any common sense or were in any way educated in any formal arena. I know what people of that caliber sound like. These two each sounded pretty high on some either edibles or alcohol, perhaps both. How these two were just completely able to waste over an hour helping two parties is beyond me. T-mobile is losing its proverbial tail paying these people to just waste their time on the job speaking about nonsense that has nothing to do with the sales of T-mobile products. I waited from 1:40 pm next in line till 2:40 pm and they still weren't finished with the people they had started to help. I was livid and in complete disbelief of this. I was finally called up and they were unable to help me. Giovanni even laughed and smiled when he told me it was normal for people wait for an ungodly amount of time. So not only was he rude and unprofessional but he was glib about being wasteful and amused that I was upset at him. T-mobile is usually pretty quick where I come from. If you want to sit around and have your time wasted by unremarkable individuals.... this is your place. These guys will talk, talk and talk about nothing important while you wait. Then say inappropriate impolite comments when you press them about taking so long. If you want to feel incredibly unintelligent about your use of time during your day, you should totally come in here. I've never met any employees so unqualified at their jobs as customer service as these two. You can be sure that you'll spend way more time then you should in here. Are all T-mobiles in Reno this bad? I don't know. I have a plan with several lines and I am intending on calling a competitor and having my entire account plan cancelled and picked up by some other provider. I despise playing games, and love taking business from unappreciative people like this. Amit and Giovanni are the reason places like T-mobile lose good customers. If you are thinking of starting a new service with these people I suggest going to at least another store. Because coming in here is not worth it if you value the minutes in your day.

Amended to 1 star: went back to VerizonAfter two months of this service, I am still being billed from Verizon for the trade-in. Why? Because T-Mobile employees did not explain the process to me correctly. What happens is they give you a REBATE on your new phone through T-Mobile in the credit of your old carrier’s phone, yet you’re still responsible to pay off said, old phone. Had I known that, I wouldn’t have done it. NYC sued them in 2019 for deceptive business practices. (Google)Today Brian the manager in customer service was rude, condescending and 100% unhelpful. In 2 mos I have spoken with: Claire, Tammy, Mario, Tori, Rigo, and now Manager Brian about this issue. He admitted I was grossly misinformed, and since the regional manager is the one who told me this, she’s the one who needs to fix it. When I asked him how to find her, (she travels locations), he just got mad. Called Verizon back immediately-was not treated poorly, and was able to transfer my service back to them in the same day. Don’t recommend T-Mobile.Original review:Went in to transfer service from Verizon. Store was originally empty with two associates working. After waiting the idiotic ten minutes for their safe to open, I was told they were out of the phone I wanted. At first, they were going to have another store bring me the phone, but one associate ended up leaving the premises to go get it herself. When she left, she told the male associate to start on my transfer work. To which he never did. The whole time she was gone, he complained that he had only been there a month, complained about how many hours he was working that week,(a brutal 42), not having taken a lunch yet, the fact that his old manager got mad one day and walked out in the middle of his shift, that the other manager candidate had his hours cut in half rather than being promoted, that the female that was working with him that day is a regional manager who had to come in because the other manager flipped out. He said he doesn’t like working with her, and he couldn’t answer any questions I had about anything cell phone related. Everything she asked him to do while she was gone, he couldn’t do confidently or wouldn’t do at all, and I watched him write down an account number and pin number for my transfer, three times on three different post it notes for some weird reason. Then he threw all the information away so when they needed it later, he had to dig through the trash. Other customers were starting to come into the store and were milling around because he was the only one left in the store as she had gone to go get my phone. He attended to two customers during that time, neither of which he ended up helping, and both left irritated. That being said, he was excellent at greeting customers the minute they walked in the door. The manager finally came back and immediately went in the back room, because she was simultaneously on her earbuds on a managers meeting, and left me and everyone else alone with him, and it was disastrous. He kept talking about how all of the things he needed to use weren’t working correctly; the tablet wasn’t working correctly, the “fast pass” number or something didn’t work so he had to enter the EIN # (or something lol) manually, blag blah blah. And then he exclaimed, “what the fuck” really loudly when he couldn’t get something else to work. There were three other customers in the store at that time, and one other made eye contact with me when he did that, and she did not look happy. He was inefficient, ineffective, bumbled around, didn’t seem to know what he was doing, stood around with his hands in his pockets, couldn’t get the printer to work, etc etc. After being there for over TWO hours, I had hit a wall. I was very concerned that my transfer was not going to go over properly because he did not know what he was doing and I wanted the manager back. So I had to become nasty to get my way. She did not seem surprised by his behavior, but it needs to be addressed if it hasn’t already.

I've had tmobile for a long time and just upgraded my plan to a way better one. Giovanni helped us and made everything so smooth and simple. Very transparent with the pricing and made it a painless transition. Thank you!

Would not accept phone turn in because they aren’t a corporate store. When I asked which stores in town were corporate, they didn’t know.

New rules on payment for service at store are absolutely no improvement. Charging more for paying in person is insane! You need to reexamine your business practices for longtime clients.

We have been given the run around by every t mobile store. We had two I pads that couldn't be used because they were not holding a charge. We were told from the Apple Store to go see the t-mobile at 57 Damonte Ranch. We encountered "Care" at this store. She has been the only one to be able to help this situation we have been dealing with for over 6 months. She gave incredible customer service and made sure we were completely satisfied with paying the least amount possible!

Customer service needs help. The new hire gave me false information about a problem I had with my phone. Had no idea what he was talking about. The old manager is gone now. He was very helpful etc etc etc.

Inexperienced, untrained, personnel . Kept 4 customers waiting while second person was in the back. A small sign says or implies the store is "outsourced "? Better off calling 800#.

Horrible, I went in to get an upgrade and the girl there is just standing there looking at me all she said is what are you looking for *not friendly* while still standing at the register. Usually when I go to T-Mobile they’re friendly. She didn’t tell me about no deals, didn’t ask if I needed help or to come get her if I needed help, I just left. Felt super uncomfortable.
