I went to Elcia, I was her FIRST client and I am telling you, SHE WAS AMAZING!!!! Oh my gosh she was personal nervous yet Awsome!!! Please be patient with her because she Definitely wants to do an Awsome People need to remember these students are New at this.
Elecia did such an Amazing job on my nails......
I see her going places and doing extremely Careing and Beautiful work .......
I highly recommend her and the Paul Mitchel School ...
No I an not getting paid to say this, I just thought an honest post would be nice....

I’m actually really disappointed in their customer service. They stated they take walk-ins when I called up till 2:30. I said I should be there at 2:32 and they said it would be fine. Unfortunately, when I arrived they said can’t take me. I see numerous students sitting around and playing on their phones. I understand you have a cutoff but never have I ever been to a place where they do not provide a 5 minute grace period. The students do great work but the way guest services were handled is atrocious. Don’t say you can do something and then go back on your word for 2 mins. Poorly handled service at front desk.

Very busy! Students seem confident and capable but don't always hear what you say or ask clarifying questions to be sure we are on the same page. However, I keep coming back because of Rob, one of the instructors. He makes sure my cut is right and I am happy before I leave. I came here in 2020 when working in Reno and had the best haircuts. In 2022 I again worked in Reno again and came here - best haircuts of my life! I moved to SFO recently and drove the 3.5 hours to get my hair cut here because Rob is still working here. You won't leave unhappy as long as he is an instructor here.

Students are kind and showing fantastic potential, Lead hair dresser Rob though is less fantastic. I asked for a shaggy mullet and he took several hours to cut a single layer and bangs. Also he told my FP not to cut my hair before color , leading to a huge waste of time and product. The bangs look cute , but he didn't do anything like the picture I showed. Also applied unnecessary pressure to my FP who did my color. Saying it "shouldn't have taken so long" but he wasn't instructing or helping , but instead he was doing another students hair as he was the only instructor on the floor. Also wouldn't allow my FP to cut my hair before coloring , leading to bleaching damaged hair , but then insisted he MUST cut the hair I told him I didn't want ANY length taken off of. Waste of product and didn't care about my consent. I was there for 9 hours , and left with a nice bright blonde , the integrity of my hair is still awesome. (5 stars for my experience) the students deserve a competent instructor though. Don't understand why they were being either micromanaged or ignored. Not a huge fan of Rob. Lead instructor Chris though seems like he was very nice and helpful, but he was not on the floor that day.

I went to Paul Mitchell, November 4, 2023, and had the best experience. I went for a highlight, and was pleasantly impressed by the school. I will be back. Thank you to my hairdresser. My hair looks awesome.

I strongly don't recommend anyone to get work of any kind done at shop. I had hair done I wanted layers put in hair and chestnut color with blond chuck got there at 10:30-and at 4:30 was told I would have to come back for finish so basically they took my $$$ and when I've constantly went to have them fix the mess they have no timehigh

The financial aid lady I believe her name is Carla is the opposite of encouraging, I took a tour here with one of my good friends she's interested in the nail program and im interested in the cosmo program. she was so rude and couldn't even answer one question, she kept looking at us with a weird condescending smirk. While the tour wasn't too bad and I was almost sure I wanted to come here that carla lady ruined it :) Not to mention she was talking to us like we had no clue what we were doing when in reality the "questions" she was answering are the basics. Carla if you're reading this be nicer to strangers especially those interested in paying a pretty penny at your school :)

The teachers are really lazy they don’t give the time and training a real hairstylist would need they have like one good teacher but everyone else useless , it’s over priced for the tuition.
