If you aren’t white, please do not come to this Ulta. The amount of racism from the employees especially the white elderly lady who I’m assuming is a manger is actually insane. Last week my boyfriend and I went in to pick up some things I needed. I started to browse and my boyfriend pointed out how the “managers,” im assuming, were following this African America couple. And the crazy part is they don’t try to hide it neither. Weather they were stealing or not why were they making it so obvious? The lady was not even a foot away from them and would just follow them when I mean like making it obvious it was so obvious. The man was in the perfume section and the white elderly lady was just staring at him in his face, it was so uncomfortable. Then the other manager was doing the same thing with his wife. The couple had walked past us and I heard the girl say “ let’s just leave” eventually. The manager who was following the wife heard my boyfriend talking under his breathe saying how he was uncomfortable and how there is no way he’s actually witnessing them doing that to them. Then after they left, that same manager started following us. I didn’t realize until we left but my boyfriend had told me after we checked out and left. I had made a review about 8 months ago for this same Ulta after that same elderly lady followed us around the store. I didn’t even realize she had followed me until I threw away my candy wrapper in a trash can before the check out line and I felt her hover over the trash can right when I took two steps away from it. I’m assuming she thought I was stealing or something and threw a product wrapper away. It’s insane how they’re is so many reviews about the employees here and all of them still work there.

I LOVE Ulta. About a year ago I was in a pinch for a blowout. I took a chance and called Ulta, they had an availability. I barely even knew they had a full salon. My stylist was Cheyenne. She was amazing. My blowout was awesome. Then, I started using her for my color, also fantastic. She has been my go-to girl for all things hair ever since! I cheated on her a few times because of her schedule but no one is as good as her. I am so grateful for her professionalism, expertise in color, cuts, and style-she is the best. I would recommend Ulta and Cheyenne for their salon services. Not to mention their pricing is affordable! Thank you Ulta.Becky G.

I went in one time to look for lipstick. The white old lady asked me if she can help me with something in a slightly aggressive way, as if I'm not up to any good. I noticed then she started following me around every aisle I went to. I've never felt more anxious about going to a store to look for makeup. Felt so uncomfortable. Never going back.

I am extremely disappointed with my salon services, and the manager Lisa, that I spoke to.This is the third visit where the back of my hair is a different color than the front. I contacted the stylist who did my hair, and told her that I was having the same issues as I had the previous couple of times, when I had to go back in to have her correct the color before. The front of my hair is one color, and the back is another.After speaking to Cheyenne, my stylist, she told me I needed to go somewhere else and put her manager, Lisa, on the phone.That manager, Lisa, offered zero apologies and had a definite tone, and indifference to my situation immediately. Lisa said that Cheyenne, my stylist, told me that those are from old low lights that had faded, and that's why there is a color difference.No, that isn't what she told me, at least not when I was in the salon after having my last highlight done.Cheyenne told me when I left the salon on February 14th, that she did not pull my ends through. That is exactly what the problem is! You can see where she touched up the roots, and left the rest of the hair out of the foil. Problem is, she didn't use the right volume to process my highlights, so what was pulled through looks orange, as well as the small section at the root that she touched up where she didn't pull the ends through. They didn't lift! I have attached photos...I literally look like a clown! You can see that it did not process correctly. You can see the discoloration against my scalp at the base of the root. This isn't The old low lights growing out and fading as they're trying to dismiss it as!I leave for vacation in a few days, which is why I got my hair done in the first place, and I can't find someone else to get me in before I depart, so I am leaving with Platinum blonde hair in the front and orange hair in the back. How can they treat a long time customer of Ulta like this? Go find someone else? Despite the fact that I'm leaving on vacation and have very little time to take care of this. It's embarrassing to look like this, especially for a special event.Instead of learning from the experience as a stylist, and correcting her mistake, my stylist and her manager decided to discard me as a customer. I was perfectly happy coming back, because I know it takes time to learn how someone's hair reacts to the different chemicals, etc. I wasn't going to give up on Cheyenne because of mistakes, despite being repeated, I liked her.Lisa offered a partial refund, and zero apologies. A partial refund? To fix all of the discoloration somewhere else? What a joke.Thanks for leaving me hanging! Don't waste your time here... They don't value you as a customer. When it's a mistake on their end, instead of making it right, you are disposable to them!

I was looking for two things. OPI start to finish nail polish. Which they didn't have. Then a product called WOW. The sales person looked for the nail polish for me and couldn't find it. But!! She knew where the WOW product was and took me to it. Guess I need to go to Sally's to find my nail polish.

Cheyenne is the best hair stylist here! She's a master stylist with 20 years of experience. I didn't even know they had salon services, but once I found out, I had to try it. I was pleasantly surprised! I got a full highlight, cut, and conditioning treatment. It was very affordable. She used a lot of foils for my full highlight! She's a great conversationalist, too. Definitely the best shampoo and conditioner massage! I recommend getting the extra conditioning treatment! Bonus massage. I felt like a million bucks after leaving. She's definitely going to be my regular girl and salon now!

12.19.23: If you're a girly girl or girly guy, then of course you love Ulta! Definitely a one stop shop for quality brands. If you sign up for the Ulta Rewards, they give you a birthday freebie and double points during your entire birthday month. Birthday freebies differ each month. December's birthday freebie was from Clinique. Also, for all you last minute holiday shoppers I snapped a pic of the holiday hours.

Seems like everytime I go inside this store, the manager (white old lady with white hair) always has a bad attitude. For instance I go in & she’s on the phone practically yelling at the customer over an online order. I get retail isn’t always fun but lighten up a bit?

No hate, but if you're going to say something is I'm stock at another store. MAKE SURE ITS IN STOCK, I'm told something is held in Kietzke only to drive all the way out there & find out it's not... very frustrating & it wouldn't be that way if employees learned to communicate.

My daughter had her hair colored by Cheyenne. Other hair salons said that it couldn't be done, but Cheyenne got her hair color from black to a copper red with no damage within 2 hours. We highly recommend asking for her!
