Just finished mailing some letters and witnessed a man child who could barely dress himself get angry at the employees working the front counter. Staff was incredibly patient, respectful, and professional with the idiot. He complained that he had put a hold on his mail and claimed they had messed up. Their supervisor, very kindly, explained that the system did have an error on the day he had requested the hold, validating his concerns, and he still treated the supervisor with hostility and disrespect. I was impressed with the professionalism and patience this office used to handle someone who could have just checked their mailbox and gotten what they wanted. Great post office and excellent job taking care of a person who was out to cause problems! Hope the people at this office that had to deal with him have a better day and are treated with the same professionalism they showed someone who didn’t deserve it.

Honestly, this was a much better experience than I had expected. Deanna helped me save money and time. Also the person who delivers our mail is delightful. She always says hi and is nice to our kids and dogs.

I live in Somersett. I placed a hold on my mail, which was supposed to be delivered on Monday. I intercepted the mailman today (Tuesday) and asked where my mail was, and he said I didn't have any. I informed him that it was scheduled to be delivered yesterday and he said, "Oh, it's probably still at the office. I'll deliver it on Wednesday." Pretty poor service, I'd say. The delivery times are all over the map and when I pay bills, it's now taking as long as 3 weeks to arrive at the destination. No excuses, your service stinks!

Postal Service in RENO NV is dreadful. Employees do not care about you or your mail. This is the worst mail service.

Don't listen to the bad reviews lol. It clearly says you need to make an appointment for passports on a sign at the entrance. Just accept your fate and make an appointment with the polite man up front! My appointment went smoothly thanks to Monte who is so good at his job and super educated in the matter! He makes the passport process clear and easy for you as he reviews the paperwork. Made me look decent for my passport photo, too! Super nice and efficient staff!

This was a nice quick trip with friendly and helpful employees. We had a good laugh over memorizing the hazardous materials question and then I was on my way. It was a little busy and there was only one employee working the desk but there isn’t anything the employees could do about that. She was quick and kind.

It says online they take walk-ins for passports on Saturdays until 12:00 and that you cannot make Saturday appointments. At 10:30 we were very rudely turned away and told we needed to make an appointment. I told him that online you cannot make an appointment for a Saturday; he said he knows that and I'm the 7th person today who told him that but he isn't going to take walk-ins. So rude, so lazy.

Pay no attention to the negative reviews; some intolerant people will never be happy. I have lived here for nearly two years and have found staff and attitudes exemplary.Sometimes, the phone is a little busy, but they make every effort to be responsive.

People who leave bad reviews for USPS deserve bad reviews for their own self. USPS is the best, cheapest and most reliable delivery service.I will always support the good old USPS. Their customer service is great, the people working there deserve more credit than they get.

I had to go in and apply for a passport, which is a fairly complex process. I walked in fairly nervous I had done something wrong inevitably in my paperwork, but Monte was very knowledgeable and helpful, as well as reassuring with anything I missed.Very polite, knew his stuff, very helpful and asked every possible question to make sure I got what I needed, I'm very appreciative for Monte's help.

Every time I've visited this post office, I've had no problems and all the staff I've encountered have been friendly and very helpful. I thought to snap a pic of the priority mailing prices in hopes it helps anyone looking for this service.
