Deodorant and contact solution were behind a locked glass door. Hit the button for someone to come unlock it. Waited 10 minutes and no one came. Asked 2 separate employees for help. The first employee directed me to customer service. The service employee (who had a giant hickey on her neck) rudely said she would page someone. Waited an additional 15 minutes and no one came. Went to smiths to get what I needed. The service at Walmart is getting so bad it’s not even worth the cheaper prices.

No point In shopping at this store if you need toiletries or anything health/beauty related. EVERYTHING is locked up, requiring an employee to assist EVERY SINGLE TIME. never going to Walmart to shop for this stuff again. Will shop Amazon and just have everything delivered. This Walmart is Such a waste of time.

For me so far that Auto Service was excellent due to compare to the one at the Kietzke Walmart Auto center. Because at lease they have more employees that work for your cars what you need for the services and friendly to help you out.
The only things will be the problems with the key access is constantly a problem after the hours during night time (around dinner time around 7 or 8pm up until when they close). You will be hardly find anyone to be able to help you open any cabinets to get what you want. Be ready to go way before dinner time.
When you shopping during night time, 8 pm, you always found some people sticking around and doing nothing. For me that will be worst influence and just pay them to walking around and doing nothing or said pretending to doing something. I am often time went over there night time and shop, always see all those things happen like this. Plus the team leads or managers that I do not know what they are doing all those time. Not very often I see them on the floor and work with all those lazy people and work together to do the last minutes duties they suppose to be doing and no customers service while they doing their jobs.

Racist white old lady works in fitting room would not let me try on some clothes or bras. I came here last week and had no issue trying on bras. She was very rude and told me i cant try anything on as soon as i said hello. Work on your customer service!

3/9/2025: there is literally no reason for me to shop here anymore. Everything is locked up for personal care, it tastes forever for someone to unlock things, and I refuse to wait. I have reported this store 6 times to the health department for fruit fly infestations in the produce section and expired products in their sandwich meats and cheese section. This store sucks and I'm done here.
In 6 months this store has become even worse. Stocking is horrible almost all the time. Many perishable food items are expired and if I actually shop here I have to look at the expiration labels on everything that's refrigerated to make sure it doesn't expire the next day or already expired. Their employees could seriously care less when you tell them and good luck finding a manager. Their online order and pickup service is the worst.. The people who pick the orders don't look at expression dates and pick the worst produce ever.
I used to come here for oil changes but the auto service dept sucks too. They take forever and they don't do basic fluid checks. My brake and power steering fluids were low, which I knew but I expected them to at least check, and nothing. My air filter needed changing and also nothing, and I told the service person to change it if it needs it and they didn't even open to look at it. Their hours show 7 am for the service dept and no one shows up until 8 am. Yet their website and sign outside say 7 am.
For the most part I've stopped shopping here.
Constantly out of stock on basic items that I can find at any other store, like deodorant, certain brands of soap, and to many other items to mention. And it's not just every once in a while they are out if stock, it's every week.. week after week
Fruits and vegetables are not the highest quality and often close to rotting. I've had fruit and vegetables go bad a couple days after I bought them. Their meat selection is grossly over priced and often goes bad sooner than the date on the package.
The only things that I purchase from this Walmart now are non-perishable food items and certain home appliance products and supplies. This Walmart is managed poorly and stocking is terrible.
The only good thing is that when they remodeled the store recently they added a lot more self serve checkout stands, but even so when it's busy they still don't open enough registers.
For fruits and vegetables, I go to Smith's and Sprouts as their selection is much better and actually lasts more than a couple days.
For meat I go to Winco, as it is fresher and much cheaper.
I have been shopping at this Walmart for years and have seen it go down in quality and go up in prices.. I have spent thousands of dollars a year here and am very disappointed in the decline of service and stocking

Usually go to this walmart, but this time it really was just a negative experience. Legit waited about 15 minutes because someone had to unlock a cabinet for an item I needed. Multiple employees walked by and were either not able to do it, told me to continue waiting because they were busy, or flat out ignored me even if it had been longer than expected for someone to show up. The timer on the call button even stopped and required to be pressed again before I could get someone to arrive. I understand their purpose, but locking things behind plexiglass make me not want to deal with you as a store, especially if you are not able to properly clear any sort of que in a timely manner, regardless of the time of day/staff on shift. Also, not a fan of how little check out lines their are that involve an employee in the process, rather being mainly self check out that either breakdown, or require an employee to help you because an item needs some kind of approval prior to you continuing the process, almost defeating the purpose of the self checkout.

Restocking items here doesn't seem to be a priority. Now, you have to be a locksmith because they are putting everything behind glass and locks. Then....when you try and call an associate, they either don't come and open anything or don't answer the phone. Locking up the entire store will certainly cost them a lot in sales. They must have lazy Loss Prevention associates. 😅

Even by Walmart standards, this place is really bad. Never a good experience here.
I honestly can't think of a reason to why they'd take away all the Valentine's Day stuff ON the day itself. Rather than keep all the themed stuff up for ONE more day, they decide to take everything down on the day itself and put up Easter stuff...that isn't until APRIL! Management over there must be run by Nasa. I mean, seriously, who made that ridiculous call? But hey, I guess you guys will save some time before Easter, right? Now, your employees can have those many cigarette breaks they enjoy at the entrances of the store. You stay classy, Reno.

Trying to order tires online and says they are in inventory. Keeps canceling my order.
So I called the automotive department and he said they close in two minutes and hung up on me. So I called 4 times so far for the automotive department the next morning. No answer. I’ve had it with Walmart. I’ll pay more to shop somewhere else but I hope I don’t deal with lazy people!

I don't buy anything in a locked case. Most don't have buttons, and I rarely get help if I press it.
The only time I've ever had a reciept printer run out of paper they almost called the cops on me cause they demanded a receipt they couldn't print.

Best Walmart in Reno besides the older security at the door that wants to jump in your basket to force you to show your receipts

I don't like this store because there are never any cashiers and they lock up WD40 and underwear. If you want to purchase ANYTHING you have to find an associate to unlock the item. That takes forever because there are never enough employees. I only go here when my dad needs too. Other wise I find a better solution to my needs.
