I needed something for water sports before I went to the lake. I went to 3 stores.No one had what I needed. West marine had two of them in stock. It only cost one-third more than I could have purchased it online. Of course, I would have had to wait two days and pay shipping and handling.
After 3ed use the air hose would not seal and would cross thread every time I tried to assemble it. The connection is poorly designed. West marine refuse to exchange it return it or repair it. I did not have the receipt. Do not purchase this item unless the host connection has been redesigned

West marine has always been pricey, but the quality of materials that you're getting there are worth the extra dollar or 2, but you can almost bet that whatever it is that you're buying is going to work, and it is going to get exactly what job you need done done. The staff there was a young girl She stayed with me and walked me through as much of of everything that I needed. She guided me to other things and and gave me an example of how to use it and apply it to a boat setting. She was very knowledgeable and very important to have somebody like that.That knows the products of the store

A bit hard to find and in a run down area. Selection is a bit limited but if they have what you need it's probably fine.

Customer service here was good.
I got a fuel tank here because no one else in Reno had the plastic tank for my outboard that I was looking for.
The store was quite filthy, and the girl working the register have the manager a lot of attitude when he asked her to sweep and mop the entrance area.
