The ginger dude with a beard is rude. He needs to learn how to interact with customers.

Always wanted to go into this unique old building to see what they offered. The nice young gentleman helped me pick out a firearm that was best for this old lady. I had been doing my own research online so I know the first one he took me too was a good choice. It was new and the price was the same as I found online. I did not buy on the spot since I want to make sure this is the best fit for me. Plus, I was hoping to find a handgun that was not all black. I like to easily see the safety and releases. We talked for some time and the brand of gun I originally went in for was not available. Even though it had good reviews online, he noted that it would not hold up to lots of use. I don't plan on using the gun a lot but I may go to the range with my friend and shoot targets. My main purpose for the gun was for safety while traveling in an R.V. I currently have an old 9mm that has not been used in since I bought it from a co-worker. They told me they could appraise it and possibly trade it in. Not sure if I want to give it up but I like having options. This place had a great collection of guns, new and used, and lots of gun stuff. The young man who helped me was patient and really spent time with me. That is greatly appreciated.

Excellent service here on 2 occasions. Just worked with Robbie and he was extremely helpful. Any questions you have regarding firearms, make sure to contact the folks here. ?

Called to ask if they had an appraiser for a gun i have. They asked if i want to sell it, i said it depends on what the appraiser says. They told me it's an antique and if someone put modern ammo in it, it will blow up, which is true and i knew that, and they weren't interested in it. Then gave me no information. So totally unhelpful trip, definitely not worth driving for an hour.

I have been a customer for almost 5 years. This is, hands down, my favorite gun store. The staff are 100% helpful and knowledgeable and at the same time non-intrusive. You will never be pressured to buy something but your questions will be answered. The inventory is a mix of new and used..if, like me, you drop in from time-to-time I guarantee you will find what you want at a very fair price.

Willey Brothers is %100 the best small gun shop in town. Got a new rail for $20 which would of cost at least $40 anywhere else. Guns are affordable and if your into classic ammo and classic airguns they also have that. Would highly recommend stopping by.

Didn't even try to do a background check because I had a misdemeanor 12 years ago. Unfriendly and unhelpful, not to mention overpriced.

Went here to sell two firearms and got a very fair deal. Deb was kind and helpful throughout the whole process and made it easy and painless. They have a beautiful selection of firearms that I can't wait to look at again and this time buy something from them! Thank you guys!

I bought a rifle from this place. Any questions I had were thoroughly answered, and when I finally decided to make the purchase, the young guy with the beard IMMEDIATELY got on the phone for the background check so that while he was on hold, he wasn’t wasting any of my time.I didn’t realize just how much I appreciated that at the time, but a few months later, I went to another shop in Gardnerville and bought a shotgun. Expecting the same hustle that Willey’s set for me, I was genuinely surprised when the guy behind the counter said “Our guy that does the background checks isn’t in today. Come back in three days and you can pick up your gun assuming the ATF background check is all cleared.” For a moment I had to think if I was in California or something. Then when I told him I wanted my money back he said that they have a no returns policy with firearms, but I haven’t even left the building with it yet. Willey Brothers has ruined other gun shops for me forever and I am eternally grateful for that.Great pricesGreat serviceI’ll be coming back for future purchases

When buying from the company via gunbroker, they will communicate and have the FFL sent through email (not through gunbroker). And if you don't pay fast enough (even if you are still communicating with them), they report you for "not-paying" and lock your gunbroker account, with no ability to appeal. After this happened, they stopped responding to my emails. I just logged in one day to submit payment after they got back to me with the number I type in to be able to pay, and my account was reported.

Sorry, I have to give this place a 1 star review. I visit a lot of gunshops and the young bearded guy that is in the store is really unprofessional. I've bought a couple firearms from them, but they never want to budge off of their prices. Sadly I have to say that when I ask if they can go down on their prices I always get the same answer. "We just got that one in today, so we can't go down on the price". Try being honest to your customers, that will go a long ways. I doubt I'll visit your store again. There are better shops in the Carson City/Reno area. You just lost a very good customer that enjoys buying guns. Not at your shop though.

I'm only giving 4 stars because I had a very simple transaction and didn't need much customer service for my purchase. If they perform as well during a full FFL transaction (and I assume they do), they deserve 5 stars. The staff was clearly there to assist if needed, but without any pressure to interact unless asked. I hate shopping with a salesman breathing down my neck. Just a relaxing low-key environment with a fantastic selection of interesting vintage and antique firearms along with new models. I'll be coming back when I'm back in the area again.
