I've always been able to find whatever I'm looking for here on a grocery run, and the prices are fair. Yes, there is the occasional homeless person in the parking lot and the even rarer con artist, but if you can shop alongside that, you deserve the savings here.

I bought bread and cheese from this winco and the next day not even 24 hours later both had mold on them and I’ve never experienced that ever before

Customer service sucks. The pizza people are great! Ive never had a problem with them. The two people on grave who work the cashier are great too but the daytime people (even front end supervisor) needs work. Again not asking the world. Everything is just so hostile. I usually get in and get out and keep my head down but the second I have to talk to them, its the entire world has ended and God forbid I ask them a question. Honestly the last place I want to shop because of the hostile environment.

OH MY FRICKEN GOD!!!! I went there to make a purchase of some groceries....AND I used my debit card, insufficient funds. Ok! BLOODY GREAT! I then used my Credit Card, they won't accept my credit card!!!! WTF!!!! the cashier tells me that they (WINCO) did not want to be charged extra for when the customer uses his / her credit card. SO NOW I AM WITHOUT GROCERIES!!!!! WINCO makes millions of dollars yearly, and they want to be cheap on no accepting credit cards!!!!

The Winco in Northtown is I don't know why he keeps it up. Because all I do is Ghetto these days . They NEVER have anything in stocks In a doesn't matter what time you go in. Tonight I went there filled up my basket $300.00 dollars in groceries and when I get to the register she tells me their Debit/ Foodstamp machine is not working are you serious!! For a store that is employee owned they sure have went Down Hill. I never thought Winco would be like the rest of the businesses since Covid but it looks that way and what a shame!!!

11/10/2023 First time to visit store., since I had some time to kill.. Store is stocked well for it being early .. Unfortunately, I had a few items to purchase, but the self check out was closed... There were only three cashiers and the lights were going down the aisles.. Ended up putting back my items and by the time I was walking out, looked like they had some cashiers open up. Glad to visit.

Super affordable, employee owned. I cannot emphasize enough how the prices stay low here on the same brands and items.

Clean and organized. Very busy on a Sunday afternoon. Loved the bulk foods section. Very affordable prices for everything. Good variety and selection of produce. Cash or debit card only.

I have been shopping here since I was a kid. Now that I am an adult I still come her periodically to shop for the great prices and the professional employees. However this last experience has deterred me from wanting to come back for awhile. Your cashier Rachel, was extremely unfriendly, rude to me and my sister, threw our things around, and made us feel stupid for trying to be helpful. Then when the gentleman behind us tried to to talk to her and help us she was even rude to him. I'm not saying I won't ever come back but if you have someone who is working the register like that I think they should be alittle more kind. I understand not everyone has a good day but we are there buying from your company so she has money to put in her pocket. This is now the second employee that has made my visit unpleasant.

I am so disappointed to be writing this review. I love Winco, or I used to until they became Costco to me. What do I mean by that? Ever notice that every time you get to love something at Costco, BOOM, it's gone forever. How long has this store been open for? They have already done it to three products I buy every week. Four if you count Zevia drinks they bounced two years ago. So today I call over the manager to chat. Now one of the reasons I loved shopping here is Winco proudly boasts it's an employee owned business. So that is why the manager told me these decisions are corporate based? Employee corporate? So Winco corporate, rather than call you and beg you to put back the items you removed. I will appeal to the public court of opinion to see if they want this treatment. What I wanted, just so we are clear, is I wanted the manager to say to me, "What?! We stopped stocking Rocky Road candy bars, even though you buy a case a month, let me fix it." Not put it back on me to mire through your companies semantics AND TRY TO BEG YOU TO TAKE CARE OF ME. 1) Panda Puffs cereal. Here is a classic. They discontinued it, even though their price was the best. And they moved it to the bins, FOR A HIGHER PRICE THAN THE BOX! Let's stop a sec here. The whole purpose of the bins is to reduce price by eliminating packaging. They moved Panda to the Bins at a higher price, then discontinued the brand. I called this to the "can do nothing" manager on duty who at least shrugged. The good part is the bin Panda was STALE! I have yet to remember to return the more expensive stale cereal. So that screwed me as a family member is gluten intolerant, and that cereal was the only one she could eat. At least I get to buy it for double the price elsewhere. 2) My Rocky Road candy bar. Seriously. Again, something I buy continually, not even worth an effort from today's can do nothing manager. 3) The carnitas the meat department had going and stopped without notice or explanation. It was great. Okay, well, today I solved my own problem. I hit the buzzer, the meat guy came out, said it wasn't selling, showed me the seasoning. But again, this place is always putting it back on me. 4) They have their brand carbonated diet soda/waters. Once, like a million years ago, they had many flavors to choose from, then rando, they have the two shittiest ones only for the last many months. WTH!? Costco all over again. Number five Is really just a complaint on a few things. I wanted them to get Zevia back, and I want them to get rice milk as I hate having to shop in multiple stores. How freaking hard is it to get Rice Dreams in the milk case. Walmart has it, Raley's has it. Nope, three different managers have BS'd me, and the one today just said it frustrates him too, as they do it to things he likes. "They". Don't buy into this type of jargon where they come into our neighborhood with a "employee owned" feel good to shop here, and their own people use, "They." So, Winco is NOT an employee owned store, they are a corporate- non-customer-centric entity hiding behind that BS and the only reason I am further patronizing them is the price and location. But the reason I might go back to Walmart/Costco/Sprouts is I hate going in there at night, they close the self lanes, and there is ALWAYS a freaking line. SO FRUSTRATING with the lines. Today, I went to the self checkout with like 30 items because it was ridiculous with the lines. Doesn't management have eyes? YOU DO NOT VALUE MY TIME WINCO. HIRE PEOPLE!

This place is a madhouse. They typical Winco experience with long wait times and a few checkout lanes. It's not necessarily the business but the people shopping there you have to worry about. They seem to have no respect for others and are willing to do anything to cut you in line just to get out of the building first.

Are the cashiers not trained or? Amy first of all you over charged me for multiple items. It may be my fault I didn’t see the ticket till I got home but the bare minimum you are required to do as a cashier is to scan items. I suggest training employees a bit longer before letting them be on the floor. I know this business is desperate for cashiers but fix the issues or at least allow self check out for more than a small grocery list. I rather do it myself than to have to worry if a cashier can handle their one job because I have to worry about bagging my own groceries. Thank you.

Thier prices are reasonable, staffing is limited especially on weekends, you will have long lines. Shop late at night or during mid week for less traffic. Meats are at fair pricing, seafood well as usual expensive but a variety to choose from. Overall I rather shop here than anywhere else.

Prices are the only thing good about this place, doesn't matter what time you go this store is under staffed. The majority of your visit w this grocery store is just waiting in line. I spend a average of 30 minutes waiting to pay this company money. Hire more cashiers, my frozen food shouldn't be melted by the time I get home. This problem has only been constant throughout the last year. Lines will literally go 20 customers back at times.
