About WM - Stead Transfer Station
WM - Stead Transfer Station is described as a business with very helpful and professional staff. Customers mention that staff at WM go out of their way to help and that the company does a great job for the community. The people and drivers at WM are called the best, and they really do care about their customers. One reviewer shares that when their accounts were hacked at their bank and their auto pay payments were changed, WM helped set up an arrangement that got them caught up without hurting them. Pricing for the smallest containers is ok, but the price jumps to larger containers are extreme. For home service, pickups are missed regularly, while for business there is no issue with pickups. Service reps are very helpful. One customer wishes they could get new containers because some containers are very bad after more than 20 years. Another reviewer disposed of an old 21' fiberglass cabin cuddy boat at the location, noting that the engine, outdrive, fuel, and oils must be removed first, but the price was very reasonable, less than $200.

Easy in and out, no wait… otherwise, it’s a clean dump.

This is the 3rd time they did not pick up our trash in the last two years. We are the last stop every garbage day (since we live on the corner) and they will pick up our next door neighbors and completely either ignore or forget our trash. No problems with the recycle guys they do a fantastic job.
