great place for storage, I've rented my storage unit almost 3 years ago and have had nothing but a great experience, the managers are great people they go out of their way to help you,some people have said that there is mice there..well in the 3 years I've rented there, I have NEVER seen a mouse or any signs of any being there and I go there frequently. I hope this clears up any rumors of mice being there. I highly recommend Lahonton storage. Thank you

I've used Lahontan Storage as annual Burning Man storage for 10 years now. They're always friendly and helpful, and have been forgiving when we have gotten a little behind (such as during the recession when money was tight). The units are large with sturdy garage doors, and the entire complex is gated with personalized codes. They're undergoing a large expansion right now, I think about doubling in size, so there should be plenty of space soon.

If they ever make an agreement to drop late fees for you, get it in writing. The owner verbally said they would drop late fees because some how, 2 money orders were supposedly not received by them, and now a new female employee claims that agreement was never made. They also raised their rate to $70, but never notified us. So now, they are saying there's more fees. Total lack of communication on their part with us, and between owner and employees. Very disappointing that they didn't keep their end of the agreement. I wouldn't recommend this place even to my worst enemy.??
