Buckboard General Store is a good local place with great food and friendly staff. It offers the best burgers and fries, including stellar Sidewinder fries with cheese, pulled pork, and jalapeños. There are also jalapeño poppers, mozzarella sticks, and a good selection of sandwiches, drinks, beer, wine, candies, and snacks. It is very friendly to travelers and sometimes has live music. While gas is a bit more than in town, it provides essentials, free Wi-Fi, and is a nice place to stop for a bite.
Best burgers and fries out there for lunch. Would recommend to anyone out over there for food and general needs. Also they have fries with cheese, pulled pork, and jalapeños.

Good local place to get subsistence, a good hamburger or sandwich beer or wine Not a lot of groceries but definitely some essentials. Gas is a bit more than in town but cheaper than California. They sometimes have live music. The staff is always very friendly & the owners seem really nice.
