Not sure why this location has such bad reviews. There wasn't a line, the pharmacy tech was super friendly, and I was able to get what I need and get out quickly. Maybe it was the time of day for others but I went on a Sunday afternoon. Definitely will go there again!

I should've read the comments first before I chose to request prescription from this location. Took forever for them to fill my prescription. Just go to the other pharmacy nearby. You're welcome.

Checked for prescription through phone automation. It did not detect my prescription and put me through to the pharmacy. On hold for 25 minutes - person who finally answered phone said my prescription was ready. I explained that I had been on the phone for 25 minutes to get information that was incorrect through their phone automation and that somebody ought to be aware and that could be a problem. The lady on the phone got defensive/snippy and gave me her excuses about how busy she was all by herself. Respectfully, that's not a me problem, that's a her problem. All she had to do was acknowledge the issue and say she would bring it up as a problem to be solved. No personal responsibility at all. Sad.

Really unhelpful. Wanted to transfer a prescription, but wanted to make sure that they had it in stock. They refused to give out this information. They said my doctor would have to send over the prescription first then they can tell me if they can fill it. Great, then when they don't have it, they can just tell me what i called to ask ahead of time.

The manager and employee's strongly need to learn some conflict management. There system is annoying I called to settle a reason on why the automated phone service keeps calling me, and the first worker was very hostile and short and aggressive, which made me aggressive. Then, after speaking to the main person in charge, the pharmacist was also very short and aggressive, and quick to threaten to call the cops on me. seeing that this place only has one star doesn't surprise me. If anyone in management happens to see this review, I would strongly suggest teaching the employees some conflict management seeing that you have a f***** up system and you just expect customers to be your little b**** and be good little boys and girls on top of being annoyed with the system and being treated very aggressively.

The pharmacist may know what he is doing, but no one else in the pharmacy does. They lost an RX transferred from another pharmacy. That pharmacy was out of the heart med I needed. I had to go back to the doctor to get the Rx reissued. Use ANY other pharmacy.

One star is being generous for this location's pharmacy. I showed up to pick up my prescription the day after it was sent over, thinking they had plenty of time to fill it. It was an antibiotic, so I need it in a timely manner. I was told "oh we don't have that." No one called to tell me I wouldn't be able to fill my prescription here. They continued to tell me I needed to call around to find it and have other locations call them to transfer the prescription. When calling other locations I found out that is 100% false, they can see which locations have it and transfer it, as that is their job. The woman at the vista location apologized on behalf of the rude employees at this location. So when I called back the sparks blvd location to explain the situation, the woman hung up on me. I called back and another girl answered, saying the girl I spoke to earlier was Arlene. She was so rude, and on top of that hung up on me. I'm just trying to get my medicine, if I'm going to do their job I better be paid for it. When they finally "transferred" it I called the new location to double check. They didn't transfer it. The man at the Northtowne Ln was very nice and helpful, and pulled the prescription over to their location. I will never use this CVS again and by the looks of every other review, neither will a lot of people. Simple customer service is not hard. This pharmacy needs to reconsider their employees, especially Arlene.

This store at 5151 Sparks Blvd is closing 5-10 minutes EARLY everyday.Tonight, we and at least 4 other customers tried to make the last minute mad dash before the main store closed at 10:00p so we arrived at 9:54p and the doors were already locked! The pharmacy now closes at 9:00p but the other night, it was closed and they'd already pulled the registers at 8:50p! UNACCEPTABLE! If they're going to close early, they need to make their store hours reflect that change. I'm burning my very expensive gas trying to get what I need before closing and they're closing early!This needs to be addressed because I no longer want to do any business with them! I will buy what I need elsewhere and that statement includes any prescriptions that I currently have with them.

The only pharmacy I've ever used that routinely requires 6-7 hours to fill a prescription. And I mean almost every single time (with a large sample size). The staff are generally unfriendly and have no empathy for important considerations. I get a truckload of prescriptions every month, and there's only one I ask to be rushed. It's a pain medication that can't be filled until the day I'm out. They can't or won't fill it the night before so it's waiting the next day (to be fair, I don't know laws and regulations on this; this may not be their policy). I have to call when they open the day it's due, when I'm out, and then wait until 2 or 3 p.m. before it's ready. This happens every single month. I'd be happy for all of my other medications, which can be filled a couple days before I'm out, to take a lower priority so everyone's pain meds become the top priority. Seems like a simple solution. I wish I could give them no stars.

Every two weeks I go to pick up a specific prescription and every damn time there's an issue. I called to see why the prescription wasn't ready and was told it isn't covered by your insurance so we didn't fill it. I said I don't understand I get this every 2 weeks. This is the WORST pharmacy in the neighborhood. Going back to Walgreens!!

The worst customer service by far. I called to check for a prescription to be filled that my normal pharmacy did not have in stock. I was told that they had it, got my prescription transferred, and had to do this in person because the customer service is so bad here. Miscommunications and blatantly lying to customers for whatever reason, this CVS didn't apologize for their employee telling me that they had this prescription then showing up 8 hours later and they didn't have it in stock. I believe her name was Sarah, but she had an attitude when I asked her to transfer my script elsewhere, so my son could start his antibiotics. As I stood at that window, this tech was very upset I demanded answers and help. She was quick to slam a piece of paper stating she helped me. Noticed 6 other employees not doing anything besides conversing including the pharmacists. Who is running this place? Extra care is a joke and I will stick to Walgreens; at least they don't lie to their customers and will take accountability when they're wrong.

A Five Star Thank you to John, Pharmacist for CVS Pharmacy in Sparks off Sparks Blvd and Los Altos Pky. It was after 5:00 and he helped myself and my daughter with her medicine. John was kind and caring even after a long day in the pharmacy. He also checked me out with the extra doggie food and bottled water I also purchased. We are all tired of the many things we do in a day, but the kindness and caring I received from John was so exceptional, I wanted everyone to know what an outstanding person he is...as well as a Pharmacist. Thank you John for making our experience in CVS so fantastic. We also had a very big day today but I hope you also felt our kindness right back to you.Emily and I truly thank you. Julie A

This pharmacy had my prescription for 4 days and didn't fill it. When I went in to pick it up I was told they had "just ordered it today" and it wouldn't be ready for another three days because they don't take delivery of medications over the weekend. Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere
