We worked with Trevor extensively with our working line GSD Kiera when she was young. We originally thought she would be a candidate for french ring/mondo (fortunately - we think - she did mellow out a bit). Obedience, sleeve work, basic/intro to scent training/tracking were all worked through with Trevor before we were educated enough to branch out work with her on our own. We absolutely would not have survived the first year with our (adorable) monster without Trevor's guidance.

Trevor was very helpful giving us the tools we needed to manage our leash-reactive dog, Oscar. We had been told when shopping for trainers that Oscar was a lost cause, a lawsuit waiting to happen. Not so. Trevor understood Oscar better than anyone we tried and we made a whole lot of progress with Oscar very quickly. We now expect that Oscar will, in fact, achieve Great Dog status. So I have a long story for a review.I rescued a German shepherd from a being left in a motorhome at my mother's RV park, he was left in there with no food and water after the owner was let go from his job from a failed drug test and left everything. My mom was walking by and heard a dog barking and knew that the owner had already moved away, well my mom went and opened the door too a 5 month old puppy. My mother called me and asked me if I could take him. I had no idea what I was in for he was an extremely insucure dog that barked at everything and I mean everything. I took him to board and train with Trevor and 2 weeks later I picked him up. The barking was not completely solved but it was 100% better. I can actually walk him through home Depot with no barking at all but every once in a while if we are in our neighborhood, where he calls his home, he will bark at people or dogs while we are walking but like I said nothing at all like he was before. He is so much better than he was. He listens to his commands very good he has turned out to be a very good dog still lots of training to go and can't wait to see how my boy ends up thanks to Trevor. I actually can take my boy into public without being embarrassed or scaring people because this big scared German shepherd is barking like crazy.Trevor is always there if I have questions, yes he sometimes takes a little bit to get back to me if he is busy but never more than a few hours, he always gets back to me.Thanks for everything Evolved K9

I have only worked with Trevor once with my rescue pup that I adopted from a local rescue group end of last year, but I can tell that Trevor indeed is knowledgeable at his trade, and further has an uncanny intuition when it comes to "reading" dogs and what the "issue" may actually be.Just one session with Trevor gave me the tools and "homework" needed to assist my pup in being the awesome dog I know he can be!It is awesome to be able to work with a trainer that is understanding to what you AND your pup's needs are and Trevor is amazing at this, gauged by my personal experience along with these other reviews here!Thanks so much Trevor, you and Rachel are doing an awesome job, keep up the great work!!

Trevor did wonders with our dog Mabel. She (we) struggled with leash reactivity with other dogs to the point that it was difficult to go on hikes, to parks, or even walk around the block at times. After three weeks and two sessions with the humans, Mabel is no longer the dog barking/lunging/causing scenes during walks. Mabel absolutely adored Trevor. This was the best decision to send Mabel to Evolved K9!

We have used Evolved K9 a great deal for our loveable but quirky German Shepherd. As newbies to both dog ownership and training and to GSDs, Trevor's help has been a life saver! His breed specific knowledge and ability to train according to the dog's temperament rather than by cookie cutter methods, makes all the difference. His rates are reasonable and his skill is off the charts.

Trevor did an amazing job with our rescue puppy. Paco was very dog reactive and generally scared of everything. After working with Trevor he is a different dog. He can still be shy, but is no longer reactive and is so much more confident.

I picked my dog up from a board and train a few days ago.. and I swear they just cloned my dog and gave me a new and improved version ?My dalmatian went into them to build confidence and to dial him in on basic obedience. He has done a complete 180 and is now the most happy, confident, and well mannered dog. I'm so so happy with the outcome! It's amazing seeing the beautiful soul they were able to bring out in him. And he absolutely ADORES Trevor and Rachel. The best experience we could've asked for!I would never go to anyone else!

100 % Recommend Evolved K9 training .In my experience, Trevor was professional, kind and genuinely cares for the well-being of our family dog. He is a true expert in his field combining educational & firm lessons with ultra positive reinforcement. Just what I, and our dog ,need and love.We have done classes as well as a board and train at Evolved .I plan on continuing with training as needed .Do yourself and your dog a favor, Evolved K9 Training is the way to go.

Trevor has made it possible for our rescue to save dogs that we would otherwise be unable to help. We pull dogs off the euthanasia list, and rehabilitate them so they can go into new forever homes. Without Trevor, we wouldn't be able to help half the dogs we have in the last several years. From dogs with dog aggression, to fear issues and reactivity... Trevor has rehabilitated dozens and dozens of dogs for us. We are so grateful for all of his hard work and education. Not many trainers would be willing to do things like donating classes, board and training dogs and more. 10/10

Professionalism gets a zero. Why didn't any reviews tell you that he answers the phone on the toilet, or that he trains dogs in the driveway of his home? Or that once he got my payment he stormed inside as I was talking to him? Someone that says they will immediately send you information and you don't hear from them ever again? Someone that tells 12 stories before even addressing your dog issues? He gave me some really good information, ill absolutely be thankful for that. I'd categorize him as a dog advice giver... a full blown trainer? No. Find someone reliable and professional.

I have worked with Rachel and Trevor several times for K9 training, their services have been extremely professional, knowledgeable and affordable. If I could give them 10 stars I would! they have also helped with the adoption of my Pug/Frenchie mix Izzy! Their services are top notch when it comes to every aspect. 10/10 recommend!-Matthew

We needed help with our pup who is extremely fearful of everything, Trevor got us an appointment very quick and was extremely helpful! While we only did one appointment so far tug is no longer peeing when scared and is very good motivated now. Which has helped with introducing him to new people, dogs and environments! Trevor was extremely kind and super helpful! I look forward to working with evolved K9 training in the future and working on Tug’s confidence and manners.

I made two appointments with Trevor. The first one i made a month out, because I was out for military training. I completely forgot when i got home, but oddly I heard nothing from him. No reminder or check in, so i assumed he forgot as well. I quickly emailed two days later when I remembered after our first missed appointment and we made another one for during the week, which I had to take time off work for. We took our 1 year old female GSD to Evolved K9 after having issues with reactivity... we've had 2 sessions with Trevor and are so happy with the progress our pup (and we) are making.
