Don't remodel your kitchen thru Home Depot! It's been a disaster! Nine out of 20 cabinets delivered had damage. One was delivered damaged the second time! It's been 4 months since the original order and still waiting for all the parts. Very low quality from Thomasville cabinets. Cabinets were shipped with broken parts, paint overspray, varnish drips, wrong sizes, etc. The counter took 7 weeks to get instead of the 3 we were told. It also has to be redone due to damage during installation. Customer service from Home Depot has not been good. I wish I had made a different choice in supplier.

Does Home Depot sell medium size shopping cart wheels?

What a mess. Ridiculous the way they run the business. Choose another store for home improvements. Shop around or you may be in for a long project or remodel.

While the store is alright in terms of a typical Home Depot, I want to warn you about getting a credit card here. When I applied for the credit card, the store employee actually took the machine from me and falsely filled out info in my application and submitted it without my permission. This caused me to get a massive credit line. And possibly could have fallen into massive debt. I'm not sure of the legalities of what the employee did. But just be warned, don't let the employee take the machine from you once you fill it out.

Just spent 35 mins having someone in took renral pick the phone up and immediate hang up on me then waiting for 10 mins on hold to reach a service rep to get a hold of them. She walked over to make sure they picked up and nobody picked up just sat on hold only to call back and sit on hold forever yet again. If you’re going to hire kids at least watch them. We spend well over $70k a year here and this one won’t get another dime from this company. To say I’m furious is an understatement. We are builders and contractors trying to get things done, pay employees and feed our families and when you need to carve out an hour to chase down somebody by telephone or drive clear across town to do it in person cuz you can’t use a simple telephone is a joke. Not one more penny to this location. I’ll drive to damante ranch to rent the machines I need. Finally….an hour later got a hold of tool rental. Kid had a bad attitude…said oh sorry I didn’t realize the phone was unplugged but anyway I don’t hold tools for morning pick up. Which I do every time I rent this machine (over 30now). Just a little review so somebody helps them find good help or train what they have at least. Checks and balances. Ok my rant is now over

On September 20, 2024, I came in contact with Stacie Fischer who helped me purchase a gas range I needed, for an apartment. I paid by check. I put the delivery off until the 30th. She stated there would be a 4 hour window. "They would call me the night before. "They" never did! I am out of town about 25 miles North. When the deliverer called, they gave me 15 minutes. I told him, "they said" I would have an hour because I live so far from town. I'll make it as soon as I can. They got there within 5 minutes of my arrival. The driver & his bud were already paid, but because it's a "grandfathered" building, of course the size of the gas outlet was not the right size for them, so although they brought the range up to the 2nd floor, they would not install, so they brought the new one in, & took the old one out. I got my handyman to put it in. After going in, after the deliverers, I realized the rack for the broiler was not included. I headed back out to Spanish Springs store from Reno, & told Carol. Stacie was off that day, so Carol helped me, but said I had to call a certain number, & they would send it to me. I said, "How about the broiler pan? I didn't get that either!" When Carol looked it up, the computer showed that a broiler pan has not been included since 2007. What?! (I'm sure my Mom was rolling over in her grave!) ...An Italian family cook of 6! By the time I got home I had 2 calls from Carol, stating she didn't know why she didn't think about it, but 2 Managers & herself decided to give me a broiler rack from the same model in the store. They would put it away for me to pick up the next day. Carol was going to be on her day off. She would inform Stacie Fischer, who originally helped me with the purchase. True to Home Depot's word, there it was, as stated, the next morning! Not only did Stacie make sure I got it as promised, but she took me up to the Service Counter, calling someone in back, to make sure I got my money back for set-up, never done by their 3rd party drop-off guys, from the day before.
In all the times (years - at least 40,) I have come to Home Depot, this is the first time I have ever been truly helped, but it just goes to show...it takes a village to solve a problem(s)...2 workers, 2 supervisors, the lady in the back on computer to help me get my additional cash money the deliverers did not use for lack of installation; cash money back, because of my check, and it all started with Stacie Fischer, who wanted to make sure all went well, and I was satisfied, not only with my purchase, but with the service of Home Depot. You have a great employee there, & I loved the helping hand by the rest of the crew. You're finally understanding what it takes to solve problems! You should be proud of these workers who went above & beyond. (I was used to men "helpers" walking down an aisle, making that 1,000th of a second eye contact with a female, break that eye contact, and almost run to another aisle NOT to have to deal with a female "in a man's store.") After having this happen to me for so many years, here's what I learned, instead of being red hot about it...I'd run right after them, and yell, "Hey you, that just headed down another aisle after pretending not to see me..."(I'm 5' 5" & weigh 120,) I need your help!" (It would work every time! They'd be embarrassed back to the aisle I needed them on!) Thank you ladies! Great job! Patricia R.

All the employees in the paint department here are angry. He doesn't say anything and has a bad attitude. Employee training is not thorough at all! He is a very unpleasant person. Nearby, the Home Depot in North Reno has better staff, is kinder, and has a nicer atmosphere. I will never use this place again. be careful! It ruins your entire mood for the day. Maybe this is racism?

Picking up carpet for the scheduled day and it was never pulled out or cut. Waited in parking lot for over an hour. No one gave us any info through out the time we were there. After it was finally cut the left the carpet out front and never informed us it was ready. Then lady at customer service desk rudely threw our paperwork on the desk and left for lunch with out informing us of anything.

I was minding my own business at 9a.m. trying to return my paint that was matched wrong while walking my dog. When the greeter Jerry had to stop me and say, "Do you love your dog? I replied yes he said well pik her up. I said look my hands are full. He, as he was laughing with someone said really loud, no, it's hot on her feet. I replied No it's not and I felt the ground. I said, "Feel the ground he said no ma'am I don't have to as he was still gossiping with someone and laughing. So then I touched it again as I looked at my dog clearly, not in distress. He replied as he walked the other way. My wife tells me not to interfere with how people raised their dogs. I said no your trying to make me look like a bad dog owner feel the ground i said again. He refused as he didn't even offer one time if I needed help. He knew I was right, and he wanted to make me look bad in front of whoever he was laughing with.
How come I can count two other times I have been in there and tried to get his attention to help me he was too busy gossiping with people to hear or help me. But this time, he sure was there not to possibly help carry my paint because you could clearly see my hands were very full. But instead, you were there to make me look like a fool.
How about this Jerry great me and do your job and mind your own bussinuss.
So then I came in to return my 70.00 paint that was clearly not matched correctly. I was told they did not return that kind of paint, but if I wanted to take it to the paint counter, I could have them correct it. So I did when I got there I noticed the paint was matched to the paper, not the paint on the paper. And the two people working agreed. They even mentioned that the guy who matched my paint the day before was new. They also informed me that they could not correct paint that needed to be lightened but the other way around. So basically, I left with the same 70.00 worthless paint, and this is how I started my day thanks Jerry for creating me and ruining my day!
