Edit since I am unable to reply to the company I unfortunately have to adjust my review. I'm sorry but sending me a link from your company website does not make me want to do what you are suggesting. In fact it makes me want to do it even less because you're not using factual information that comes from someone else or something else.
When you talk about someone who drives as much as I do it is asinine to change the calipers that often. And just because something is recommended does not mean it is required. You should be able to do a service on a vehicle for exactly what a customer requests instead of Turning Away a customer because they're not willing to do everything that you recommend.
notice that even the language you used is recommend not required. Changing calipers that often is a recommendation not a requirement the person that I spoke to wouldn't even give me a quote because I wasn't willing to replace the calipers.
I would like to start my review by saying I did not use them as a company so I do not speak to the quality of their work.
I am getting brakes done at a different shop on my vehicle and was talking to a friend about the cost. They recommended this company stating they charge a much lower rate.
So I called to ask what the price was. The gentleman that I spoke to on the phone said that it is their policy to replace brake calipers every time that they do a brake service. I even told the gentleman I said I work for a delivery service and I get my brakes done about once every 6 months would that still be the case and the gentleman said yes.
I spoke with another friend who is mechanically inclined and this individual told me that brake calipers are typically designed to last for almost the entire life of a vehicle.
A quick Google search shows that brake pads should be replaced between 30,000 and 70,000 miles and that brake calipers should be replaced between 75,000 and 100,000 miles.
But in my Google search it also stated that brake calipers should be replaced around 7 to 10 years. I understand that Google is not a mechanic however it is ridiculous to recommend brake calipers on a vehicle that gets new brakes every 6 months and gets regular maintenance due to high mileage travel.
It is very difficult for me to trust mechanics because many of them think that because a person is a woman they do not know and therefore can be taken advantage of. I know a lot about vehicles and knew immediately that that information didn't seem accurate which is why I thought to use Google and the assistance of a friend.
I caution anyone who uses this company to question the repairs that are being recommended before just blindly approving them. I feel that this company based on my conversation with them may be creating additional repairs for people that are either early or completely unnecessary.
Attached are the screenshots of the Google results I found

Made an appointment online for my brakes. They were able to use a set of rotors I brought with me and saved me money. Excellent experience. Highly recommend.

I went to Les Schwab tires for the first time today. I told the service agent at the front desk that I wanted a tire rotation and to balance all the tires. I left to get a bite to eat and upon returning, the service tech was pulling my truck into the garage.
I was on the phone with a friend of mine near the garage and I noticed that the tech was putting my tires back on and had not balanced the tires.
I got off the phone and walked into the office to tell the service agent that the balancing service was not being done.
When I got into the office, the service tech who was the one working on my vehicle was at the counter and I asked him why he was not balancing the tires.
He asked me if I bought the Michelin tires from Les Schwab. I said no. He asked me if I was willing to pay more. I told him that I already discussed it with the service agent and I will be paying the $39.99 fee.
He said okay, Ill make sure I balance the tires then.
Les Schwab was going to charge me the $39.99 fee and the service tech was never going to balance the tires, because he already had rotated and reinstalled the tires to the driver side of the truck and tightened the luggage nuts on the vehicle. It was either he was to lazy to do the work, or he wanted to do the tire service his own way instead of following the work order.
Good thing I was outside and was paying attention to what work was being done to my vehicle.
Be careful and make sure that the work your paying for is the actual work being done at this location.
I went to this business because I thought a larger company would have a reputation for doing the right thing, but from what I saw, it was either laziness or he doesn't know how to complete a work order properly. Or maybe since I was the last vehicle he was servicing, that he wanted to end his day at work sooner.
Either way, Im just happy I was in the right place at the right time to see what I saw and prevent myself from getting ripped off.

Excellent tire shop. I've been coming here for years but never got around to leaving a review until now. Purchased wheels, tires, had tires patched, and just today I had a tire swap on an existing wheel. Iggy helped me out and was incredibly professional and cool. I highly recommend this shop. Super honest and more than reasonable prices.

The service is top-tier, and the workers are nice. The area is also one I wouldn't mind waiting in for my car to be serviced.

I know that when I go to a Les Schwab in Reno or sparks I’ll get professional, speedy, personalized service. I know I’ll pay a fair price and be sold what I need for my application. I know I’ll be helped by intelligent and invested employees. These things all matter to me and I’ll come back to Les knowing they’ll get me taken care of. Thanks guys and gals.

I have had service at least 3 times at Les Schwab on Los Altos, Sparks, NV. My most recent visit was a great experience. They had advised me of the need for rear brakes on my previous visit for tire rotation and included an estimate for repair. I had ample time to get some comparable quotes, and I ultimately chose Les Schwab. I am sure glad we did. I contacted via phone call to establish a repair date, check parts availability, and verify the time required since we only have one family car.
I arrived 20 minutes early, got checked in, and the repair started immediately. Since brakes, tires, and alignment are safety needs, I have confidence in all the services we have had performed there.
Thanking the entire Los Altos team, keep up the great work.
