“Mia is FANTASTIC. She was super friendly, polite and professional with me on the phone, Monday, June 3, 2024. She was very helpful in making sure that my phone order was going to be correct in color and ready for pickup that same day. She ensured that the code matched the previous paint for the job I’m doing and was very thorough.
When I arrived at the store and mentioned to the guy at the counter that I had phoned in an order; Mia took the time to say hello and introduced herself. She has a welcoming smile and personality.
Unfortunately, I can’t say that about the guy; who turned out to be the manager.
He’s not a pleasant person.
When I asked if the price of the paint he quoted included the current coupon; he looked annoyed and said,” I don’t know what coupon you are talking about.”
I referenced the Sherwin Williams coupon which had an expiration date of 6/3/24; which my boss had sent me a picture of.
I began scrolling through my text messages to find it for him.
Meanwhile, he abruptly stated, “ I don’t know about any coupons; I’ve already given you guys the contractor discount.”
When I did show him the coupon on my phone, he said; “that’s for super paint. You are getting pro mar.”
This guy really needs training on how to speak to your customers.
Since the closure of Kelly Moore; we’re buying paint from other retailers…. He obviously doesn’t understand that we have many other options available and treating customers in this manner will help them decide quickly on those other options.
