Morning staff is amazing produce department is top notch front is perfect Bakery is out of this world I got helped instantly with any questions I needed the reason why it's not five stars is because of the very bad experience I keep on having with the manager at the deli she doesn't like me is very rude constantly rolls her eyes she really hates special requests something simple like going to the other side of the deli to get different kind of bread I stopped being a daily Customer because of her and every time I see her I'm like oh no she's going to make my day bad again ahhh

Writing this review in regards to an employee, her behavior doesn’t not reflect the rest of the store employees or store. Every Tuesday that I go into this Safeway. Late Tuesday night there is always this RUDE, racist, Caucasian old women. I always seem to go when they have their self check outs closed as it is already late in the night. So I have no choice but to process my transaction with this women! Tonight she not only does the usual and make her bitter, distasteful facial expressions. Chews her gum with her mouth wide open, and had the audacity to throw my daughter nestle egg back onto the register counter just cause I simply asked her to process it in a different transaction! This lady needs to realize she’s working customer service. If she has a distasteful opinion of people other then Caucasian color she should find a different job. Matter of fact she NEEDS a different job! I’ve had to unfortunately deal with this women on numerous occasions and she never fails to express her distasteful attitude. Two previous times I had to deal with her I watched her treat two other gentleman of Caucasian decent with basic human decency. As soon as it was my turn in line her attitude changed from night and day. Other than that, the rest of the staff here have been a pleasure to deal with.

My favorite of all the Safeways in the area. Always clean, rarely crowded but when it is, they could do more to open lanes to check out (hence the 4)

They never bother to answer their phones and when they do, you get an attitude from whoever is answering their phones after you've been waiting 20 mins on hold.

Asked for assistance at floral, was told someone would be there shortly. Nobody showed, asked the same associate for help again, she told me they don’t have anyone to help us. It was a Saturday morning.. I asked if they had a manager, we just wanted some balloons, they told us sorry, we can’t help you.
A manager can’t fill some balloons? Great customer service Safeway!

Bakery suck's ordered my daughter's birthday cake a month early when I went to pick it up never cake was never made. Fidel the so called Manger said not his fault and nothing could be done. So disappointed in the customer service at that Safeway.

Two employees went up to my bf assuming he was stealing! When we were just looking at what to buy?? Don’t know if it was because how he looked but apparently strolling around for groceries in a GROCERY STORE is a suspicious act to them….

I shopped here at the beginning of the month after not shopping here for awhile. I had looked at their app and realized they had a lot of items I needed to purchase either on sale, or with a coupon. I actually did really well, and loved watching my total tick down on the register after putting my phone number in, even the cashier was excited for me. Well, I bought a nice $12 Steak only to get it home and realize it was a couple days past the "sell by" date already. It was spoiled, stinky, and rotten. Into the trash it went. I also purchased some Chobani Yogurts only to find out the hard way (eating one) that 6 out of the 8 I got were 2 weeks to 1 month expired. I completely took it for granted that none of my food i purchased would already have expired at the store. Back to Winco I go for all of my future shopping trips. Better prices, and much fresher food!
