“The absolute best place I have sent two of my children too. The teachers are amazing, so caring and impressive to our boys. Even years after my oldest exited the school he still gets excited to see his old teachers. The administration staff are excellent in communication and so caring as well. I cannot express how great Goddard School of Sparks is.”

“Sparks Middle School is a good school with an unfortunate reputation due to its location and past events. Once you get past that though you find a great place to go to school for any 6-8 grader. The teachers are defiantly a big part of this, they really go the extra mile to prove that they care. The course work is nothing special though and smarter students may find that they are not challenged in most of their classes. Elective choices are admittedly subpar, they don't include home ec, or shop. The lunch is pretty good but nothing extraordinary for public school food. The feeling of community in this school is like nothing else I have ever experienced at any other school, staff is accommodating and students are usually well behaved unless they are ticked off. The school is very clean for a public school but again nothing special. Another thing I should probably mention is that the heating/ac unit is kind of finicky and breaks sometimes. Overall sparks is a very good middle school from the perspective of a current student of coarse.”

“Our boys started at Excel this fall and our experience has been top notch! Our Kinder teacher is incredible. My son's overall maturity/behavior, penmanship and reading skills are already leaps and bounds advanced in just a few months of instruction and care. My Pre-K child loves going to school and his teachers are so loving and kind. They really understand little kids' needs and feelings. We considered waiting on Private Christian Education for Jr/Sr high, but we are so glad we went all-in during these young, incredibly formative years. Their little hearts and precious minds are saturated in Jesus' love all day. They are learning to process and understand their world from His view. We believe these are the years to do what it takes to surround them in God's love and truth. We're so blessed to have Excel as our kids' school here in Sparks! After reading some of the 1* reviews I have to say that the curriculum is VERY God/Jesus/Bible/Scripture focused. My Kinder kiddo memorizes a full verse each week, which is amazing! Their worksheets are Bible based. They have a scripture based, worship focused chapel each week too with some "high profile" pastors and Christian influencers in our area sharing the Word. As far as the nurse care, I got THREE calls in one day from the nurse, (two administrative thoroughly confirming my kids' Rx med protocol at school and one accident call), haha! The accident call was for a head bump (my kid collided with another in PE). She outlined exactly what happened, how they treated it and even sent a slip home with him with the same info. ZERO concerns here.”

“As a single mom with no family nearby, finding childcare I can truly trust is one of the most important decisions I’ve ever made. We’ve been with KinderCare for four years, and I can honestly say they have become an incredible part of our family’s journey. My daughter started here when she was one year old and is now five. My son started when he was nine and is now thirteen. Even now, he talks about his time there fondly. While he eventually outgrew daycare, he always felt welcomed, cared for, and safe. What says the most about how much I trust this center is that I commute from Northwest Reno all the way to the Sparks location, even though I live and work in Northwest Reno. That’s a lot of extra driving, but my children’s comfort, happiness, and safety are worth it. KinderCare gives me a sense of security that I can’t put a price on. Now my youngest daughter has been attending since she was just six weeks old and is currently six months old. Mrs. Liza is absolutely wonderful. She is so loving with the babies, always singing to them, comforting them, and treating them like her own. It is truly the sweetest thing to see. I also want to recognize all of the infant room teachers. Every teacher my daughter has has been amazing with the babies. They are attentive, caring, patient, and genuinely invested in making sure each child feels loved and cared for. As a mom, especially with a baby so young, it means everything to know she is in such good hands every day. Mrs. Mary cared for my now five-year-old when she was younger and continues to be one of the kindest, most patient, and gentle teachers. She has watched my daughter grow over the years, and I will always appreciate the love and care she shows her. Mrs. Angelica is my five-year-old’s current teacher, and my daughter always comes home with wonderful things to say about her. It means so much to know she enjoys her days and feels supported and encouraged in the classroom. I also want to recognize Mrs. Kassie, the director, and Mrs. Meriam. They consistently go above and beyond to help me whenever they can. Whether it’s helping with schedules, transportation needs, or simply making a stressful day a little easier, they are always willing to help. Their kindness and support mean more to me than they probably realize. As a parent, you want your children to be safe, loved, and happy when they’re away from you. KinderCare gives me that peace of mind every day. They support my family through different stages of life, and I am incredibly grateful for the care they’ve shown all three of my children. I would 100% recommend KinderCare to any family looking for a place where their children will be genuinely cared for, supported, and valued.”
