Mia is FANTASTIC. She was super friendly, polite and professional with me on the phone, Monday, June 3, 2024. She was very helpful in making sure that my phone order was going to be correct in color and ready for pickup that same day. She ensured that the code matched the previous paint for the job I’m doing and was very thorough.
When I arrived at the store and mentioned to the guy at the counter that I had phoned in an order; Mia took the time to say hello and introduced herself. She has a welcoming smile and personality.
Unfortunately, I can’t say that about the guy; who turned out to be the manager.
He’s not a pleasant person.
When I asked if the price of the paint he quoted included the current coupon; he looked annoyed and said,” I don’t know what coupon you are talking about.”
I referenced the Sherwin Williams coupon which had an expiration date of 6/3/24; which my boss had sent me a picture of.
I began scrolling through my text messages to find it for him.
Meanwhile, he abruptly stated, “ I don’t know about any coupons; I’ve already given you guys the contractor discount.”
When I did show him the coupon on my phone, he said; “that’s for super paint. You are getting pro mar.”
This guy really needs training on how to speak to your customers.
Since the closure of Kelly Moore; we’re buying paint from other retailers…. He obviously doesn’t understand that we have many other options available and treating customers in this manner will help them decide quickly on those other options.
Again, great job by Mia! Keep that lady on your team….

Sherwin Williams' neighborhood retail store on Disc Drive in Sparks is the easy & logical answer. Their paint products are all about quality. The staff's knowledge & friendliness take the worry out of such an important purchase. I told them what I wanted to paint & the color. Bingo !! We were in and out in record time. Trust the experts & you'll be ecstatically happy with the outcome

Rude, and not helpful. Gentleman working (with a backwards hat) behind the counter was less than helpful. Treated me like I was stupid for asking a simple question about adjusting the lightness or darkness of color. I will never be back. Other stores will adjust the colors, no problem, this guy just didn't want to be bothered or helpful. He looked at me like I was stupid and didn't offer any other options than finding a different color. That's fine. I'll just go to Home Depot or Lowe's. Sorry you couldn't be inconvenienced with more work.....

I just want to tell those who buy paint from this Sherwin Williams store that it does not work so you buy the most expensive paint, it does not assimilate the color and the store is not responsible for the guarantee so I recommend buying from another store why not serve this painting

Nice location, very organized and plenty of choices. It doesn't matter what color you think you want, you'll find the color you didn't know you want, and then you'll deliberate for weeks on colors you could get.Then, once you settle on the color you want, you'll enjoy perseverating relentlessly over the grade of paint that you could get. Not to mention the sheen.It's enough to make your head spin and then topple to the ground. Thankfully, Sherwin-Williams has some well-informed, knowledgeable folks who will screw it back on and help you make sense of everything. Oh yeah, there are often coupons you can take advantage of as well.

We literally walked in and asked if someone could help us match a color to the best of their ability and the guy told us "no they don't do that here". So we left and went to Benjamin Moore paints who helped us immensely.
