I’ve had nothing but horrible service, no one showed up for my lash appt. I’ve been a client for 3-4 years , and have supported this small local business . The prices increased without any notice , and the owner is rude !. There is nobody at the front desk. At one point I had a lash service, scheduled and was locked outside and no lash tech showed up for my appointment .I purchased an Aveda mint shampoo and Conditioner and told them it burned my scalp, and wasn’t offered any type of compensation!!!! Never going back I don’t recommend this salon to anyone after the way I was treated!!!

I like the salon vibes, they have a lot of cute things and products they don’t push on you.I was nervous ? about getting my hair cut since I moved here recently buuut I got my hair cut and I love it ? La’Shaunda was awesome! She listened to me and took good care of my hair. ??♀️

My stylist was very nice and helpful since I enter to the salon for my check in. Shine Aveda has a warm vibe I was nervous about getting my hair cut since I moved here recently buuut I got my hair cut and I love it La'Shaunda was awesome!

When I walked into Shine Aveda Salon Spa the Manager met me inside the front door, introduced herself and gave me a tour, what a wonderful first impression. I was introduced to Madison who was going to wash, cut and style my hair and Madison took excellent care of me. Madison listened to me and when she was finished and I looked in the mirror, I looked very pretty. I received the best haircut since I moved from Arizona in 2020. Thanks Madison for taking fantastic care of me, you exceeded my expectations.

I'm not from Reno but I fractured my ankle and my boyfriend who lives here is taking of me for the next three weeks so I randomly picked the closest place to get waxed without any research and I lucked out fully! When I came in Ricky was very helpful in making me feel welcome and asked me right away about my appointment. After only a few minutes I met Crystal who did a Brazilian and an eyebrow wax for me in what seemed like lightning speed and used a special wax which I swear was the least painful waxing appointment I've ever had in my life and I'm wearing a camboot on my fractured ankle the whole time. You might be thinking this but no the doctors didn't give me anything more than ibuprofen for pain it was really the fact that Crystal has skill and uses some magic wizard wax or something I'm not sure but I'm happy about it. And we were just joking around the whole time it couldn't have been a better experience. Eyebrows look perfect. Thank you Crystal!

I visited to get my beard dyed and my nails pink for Burning Man. Lea gave a terrific deep tissue massage, LaShawnda did an amazing job on my beard, and Dana made my nails look amazing. Highly recommended!

One of the worst haircuts I have received. I showed my stylist a picture of what I wanted: Long layers. I asked to only trim an inch off in addition to the long layers. My stylist ended up cutting about 3-4 inches off and the layers are much shorter, choppy and not blended. I had wrote an email to the salon about the service I received and had no response after multiple weeks. I tried calling asking for the owner and they said they would let her know I called, but again received no response. I will not be recommending this salon to any of my friends and won't be returning.

I went in for a routine trim and cried when I left after seeing how bad my hair was. I have long hair and get a straight trim to keep it growing longer. I asked for long face frame layers; long enough that I could still braid my hair back without any hair in my face. My stylist chopped the front pieces so short it comes up to my upper jaw line and won’t even tuck behind my ear. The front pieces are not blended and uneven. It looks like a child just went up and chopped a piece of my hair off. The trim wasn’t a trim, she ended up cutting way more off than just an inch. While brushing my hair she yanked through knots. The stylist was nice and friendly, however the service she provided was the worst haircut I have ever had. I left feeling sick to my stomach and cried in the car after.

Brought 3 girls ages 5, 9, and 10 for hair cuts. It was a wonderful experience. We had a successful bob, trim, and bangs cuts. No one cried. The stylist Sophia was patient and friendly. All the girls definitely want to come back.
