Tribe SBG Reno is a martial arts and self-defense school offering Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, striking, kickboxing, Muay Thai, and MMA. The kids' program, Growing Gorillas, is absolutely wonderful and educational. It teaches children ages 3-15 more than just Jiu-Jitsu, emphasizing respect, discipline, dedication, and determination. The program helps kids grow more confident in a developmentally appropriate and playful way. Coaches are amazing and truly care for each kid. With women's only classes, firearms classes, a full beginner program, and a diverse coaching staff, it is a place for learning real-life, practical self-defense skills. The environment instantly makes you feel comfortable, welcome, and ready to learn, creating an incredible community and family. It is strongly recommended for anyone interested in changing their life, getting healthy, and becoming part of a tribe.
Absolutely love this gym! Our kids love it and so do I. We are learning so many skills, self defense as well as life skills for the kids. The SBG team puts an uncompromising focus on safety, respect and professionalism all while having a great time!

This gym has been a saving grace for our kids. Coach Jessica is second-to-none with teaching teens and younger. The environment is very family friendly and you instantly feel comfortable and ready to learn there!

Amazing gym with excellent staff and a family approach mentality. Extremely supportive of military, police, and fire fighters. Great place with great people that make you feel welcome. STRONGLY recommend stopping in and joining in on a class!
