I ordered a Christmas Tree online and picked it up at the Spanish Springs Home Depot. I had it a few days. I wasn't sure I even needed a tree, but decided to assemble today. It was pretty easy at first. So I was happy I decided to keep it. The middle piece plugged in with no problem to the bottom piece. The top piece was very hard to plug into the middle piece and it looks like this plug may not hold up. I called and asked if they had more of these trees if I return it. There are no more in the entire Reno/Sparks area. She said bring it back for a refund. It is all assembled, so I asked if I bring the section in with the issue, and they can see what the problem is, would they give me some money off. I thought if it's cheap enough and only lasts a year or two I would just keep it. The gal said in a snotty tone, "You can't keep the item and get your money back." You need to box it back up and return it." I said sometimes other stores will discount items that have something wrong with them, so I thought I would ask. I didn't mean get it for free. She said again in a snotty tone "M'am your options are keep it or bring it back." Usually, this store is great, but not this time. So? I'm not sure what I'll do. What a pain. I moved furniture around too.

Went to Home Depot on Black Friday and Jerry was a warm cup of tea on a cold day! He was welcoming every single person that walked in and put smiles on peoples faces. Every time I go there he is always there with his bright and positive attitude! Jerry is the absolute best!

We absolutely love coming into our friendly Home Depot in Spanish Springs. Mainly because Jerry is usually there giving everyone a cheerful greeting and is so enthusiastic about his job. You can tell he makes the most of everyday and has a heart for service. He truly makes that place feel like home because he remembers people, is so helpful and friendly. He is a large part of the sparks small town charm and community feel that I hope continues as we grow!

I love this Home Depot, not because they have better organization or pricing, I make the drive for Jerry. He is the highlight of my Home Depot trips. I have said it for 10 years someone at corporate needs to get Jerry a massive raise or a higher position. Jerry has been there for us when our dog passed away, he calls me by name to ask me how my father is, remembers everything I tell him. And honestly, I have had Jerry find me products and tooling faster than any other employee at any Home Depot I've been too. He treats everybody like family. Thank you Jerry

I drove all the way from south Reno to go to this Home Depot at the Galleria because they had a Honda lawnmower I was interested in buying because this was the only Home Depot that had them in stock. I went to the lawnmower section where there were 3 employees in the area. I began to look at the lawnmowers but none of the employees offered assistance as I had a couple questions about certain lawnmowers. No a big deal right. Well since no one was helping me, I began to do my own research on my phone and was trying to decide between which lawnmower I wanted to get. The Honda or the Toro. Several employees walked by and never said anything. But what disturbed me was that they offered assistance to a white customer who just got there. I'm not one to play the race card but that bothered me a little. It was obvious I was there for some time interested on buying something. I don't think I was dressed like a scumbag or anything to scare people away. It became apparent that my business was not wanted there so I left. Man I was really wanting that Honda lawnmower. Oh well. I settled for a different brand somewhere else. Thumbs down for the customer service at the Home Depot at the Galleria. First and last time I set foot in that store. You know it might not even be about the Home Depot. It's probably just people in general that happen to work there.

Another 5 Star Home Depot experience today in Sparks. Many thanks to Andrew, Paint Manager, at Home Depot in Sparks, for helping me get another gallon of Behr Satin paint in the cool light green color I chose to complete my wall, as well as finding the correct Behr white color I came in looking for. I truly see why he is a Manager. He has been here for 3 years and has so many badges. He was kind to me as well as helpful, he got my paint, and asked me how my project was going. He pet my doggie and asked me if I needed anything else. I did! I needed Frog tape, plastic, paint trays and 2 new rollers. I also found beautiful curtains. To date, I have bought 4 gallons of Behr paint.It is not always just paint....It starts with paint and then you add curtains, rugs, bedding, towels, furniture, plants and decor and then you have a beautiful new room! That is why customer service is so important. If you care, your customers will come back to you. I enjoyed getting my paint from Andrew....NOT DAVID. Please retrain David in the paint section. He is a very unhappy person with no customer service skills and never a smile. He makes people feel sad! Maybe he can be in the plant section! Plants might be a better fit for his angry personality. Plants are always happy!Also, Thank you Nancy for checking us out with a smile. You were kind and caring with my new paint and curtains and you were so nice to my doggie and bird. It takes a lot of effort to paint your own walls. I am a very good painter and I love the paint section in Home Depot, Sparks. Thank you to Store Manager Jonathan for chatting with me today and the great 5 star shopping experience I had again at Home Depot in Sparks with Andrew and Nancy. I recently visited Home Depot in Spanish Springs, NV and they had a kiosk inside the store for a solar company named SUNNOVA. Inside the store with an Orange and White desk and banner... My thoughts were oh great Home Depot has a new solar company, maybe it will be affordable now? I spoke with the agent at the kiosk and let them know I had no interest in an in person search engine. They assured me that they would not sell my info. LIAR! they said I would have 1 company contact me for a consultation. All I would need to do is respond to 1 email with a copy of my Electric bill. I replied to the email sent with copies of 2 recent statements. I got a confirmation for our appointment. Since then I have received multiple calls/emails from different companies with the idea that we ALL have the same appointment time date and address! The company that was supposed to consult NEVER CALLED ME AT THE APPOINTMENT TIME! Now i am being spammed to death, someone has copies of personal info including Name, address, phone, email, account numbers, etc... Like seriously Home Depot, Home Depot should have at least looked at YELP reviews before letting this scammer steal their customers info and sell it!! 190 1 star reviews!!! 190 1 star NEGATIVE REVIEWS OF THIS COMPANY AND YOU LET THEM STEAL PERSONAL INFO FROM YOUR CUSTOMERS???!!! YOU LET A 1 STAR COMPANY IN YOUR STORE???!!! I called this store and asked to speak with the manager. I was bounced around a couple times and finally ended up at some message box that should have had the managers name and ability to leave a message, NOPE! the message sounded like a conversation between a man and a woman with their phone in their pocket, no name, then the computer voice said, "is not available, the mailbox is full and you can;t leave a messagE!!!" I will now use Big R and Lowes for my hardware and home needs

I needed help finding a disk til dawn light bulb. I asked the paint employee if anyone could help me find one and told me to go look for someone. I told him I did and couldn't find anyone and he looked at me with contempt and used his radio to make a store announcement. Still nobody came to help. This is closer to my home but I will drive to Lowes.

I went to Home Depot and found a Tuff Shed I was interested in purchasing. It said sold "as is for $4322" with their deal plus the 10% off promotion. Home Depot took my info down and told me a rep from Tuff Shed would contact me. The gentleman contacted me a few hours later and then gave me this big spiel about how the price was wrong and it should be XYZ and told me he would call me back. He called me back and said yes we can grant you that price but told me it would be another $400 due to the options it had. Long story short I told the rep I was not interested anymore and hung up the phone. The point is that I can afford said shed but it makes me very angry when they can't grant the price that was advertised and try to back peddle giving me the run around. What happened to "the customer is always right"? Home Depot/ Tuff Shed are large enough companies and should be able to grant me the price they advertised. I had pictures of all the signage with options and the sold as it sign with model/ specs and marked down price ect. Additionally I had to run back to Home Depot just now and they took all this signage down. Be careful with purchasing shed from Home Depot/ Tuff Shed even when you document things they still want to tell you (the customer) you're wrong. Location: South Reno, Nevada 89521.

Always impressed with how organized and fully stocked every time I visit this Home Depot. Nice to have employees greet you and ask if you need any help. The friendliness of the staff is so nice and makes the entire shopping experience worth returning.

I went there today to purchase some 6X6's and some irrigation items. One of the items was an insertion tool for 1/4" barbs. I asked the "supposed expert" in that department who proceed to tell me it was a puncher. Then why did the box say DIG Barb Insertion Tool for 1/4 in. Micro Tubing? I showed him the other boxes that say punches on them and that this tool has no penetrating sharp piece. He kept insisting it was a punch. I said I just want to know how this model works and I tried to show him on a roll of tubing that I see nothing to hold the tubing while inserting the barb. He yelled and tried to grab my hand saying do not punch a hole. I said it has nothing to punch a hole with. I gave it to him and left the store and went to Lowes and spent almost $300.00. Why don't home depot hire people who are in the departments that know what the items in the isles they patrol are used for and how they work?

I made a purchase online for a curbside pickup. It was ready quick. When I arrived I pulled up into a curbside stall and entered the info into the app to let the store know I was there. Within minutes they were headed out with my order and it was a heavy box. Now this review is more about the employee but I feel it's the employees that make the business because without them there would be no business. I did not get the guys name that loaded it but he was so sweet and helpful. He loaded it into the back of my truck for me and made sure it was secure. I haven't seen customer service skills like that in a while and he definitely made my day. I wish there were more people like him in this world. It would be a much better place.
