Super Carnicería 2 in Reno is a great place to shop if you’re looking for fresh meat, Mexican groceries, or delicious food. The store is bright and lively, with a welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home.
When you walk in, you’ll see fresh produce, shelves full of Mexican staples, and a busy butcher counter. The meat section is the star of the store, offering fresh cuts at great prices. The butchers are skilled and happy to help you find what you need or prepare a custom cut.
The grocery selection is also impressive. You can find all kinds of spices, canned goods, tortillas, and snacks, making it easy to cook authentic Mexican meals. They also have a bakery section with fresh bread and pastries that smell amazing and taste even better.
One of the highlights is the hot food counter. The tacos, burritos, and carnitas are incredible—flavorful, fresh, and generously portioned. It’s perfect for grabbing a quick lunch or dinner to-go. The prices are very reasonable, and the quality of the food is outstanding.
The staff at Super Carnicería 2 are friendly and helpful. Whether you’re asking for a meat recommendation or looking for a specific ingredient, they are always ready to assist.
If you’re in Reno and enjoy authentic Mexican food or need fresh ingredients, Super Carnicería 2 is a fantastic spot to visit. It’s a one-stop shop for everything you need, and the great prices make it even better. Highly recommended!

I live in Sun Valley and I only come to this butcher shop if I can't find fine dough in Sun Valley. In this butcher shop on Prater Way there is a short cashier with Chinese “blonde” hair. The bag of dough costs 3.99 and on one occasion she charged me for it at 6 dollars and another at 7. But I don't like to argue the price but it is unfair that she changes the price of things whenever she feels like it. On another occasion I called and asked if they had thin dough and they told me. “You don't need to come, and I told them what's happening is that I'm in Sun Valley and there isn't anything here and I don't want to go there and I don't want to find dough either and I said well, I can't help you, I'm busy, and I said ok, thank you. Nothing to do with the kindness of the people who work at the Sun Valley butcher shop, they are very kind. They do deserve five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The truth is that I no longer wanted to buy from Reno VAT to Sparks to buy the carnitas, they are no longer what they were 6 months ago, without color and very salty, I think the owner should pay more attention and I don't think the cashier even knows the american currency

Nice little store, good selection, kinda overpriced. I can get almost everything they sell at Walmart for about half the price! Not cool they are taking advantage of people with those prices.

The place is nicely organized and well stocked with plenty of vegetables and fruits for daily groceries, especially anything butcher related, good price range on all meats like steak chicken and seafood. A deli is also located in the back and it is good! The carnitas are juicy and tender and the chicharrones are crunchy!

Just...don't. This store has been around for years. I wasn't sure how much competition they had from Toro de Oro being just a stop light away but it seems like they're suffering. Service is...nonexistent. We were ignored for several minutes both at the meat counter and at the deli. We did decide even if the butcher paid attention to having any sort of customer not to buy hot food because this stuff was ancient. The deli is wedged in at the end of an aisle like an afterthought. Everything looks very old and cluttered. It's cramped. Old.

Worst store in Sparks. First, there is only one person who answers, second, they don't know how to send money in Central America, I have been collecting my money from them 3 times and they make you wait almost an hour 😡

That Mr. Loreto, a man with terrible customer service, if he doesn't want to do his job, then let him not work. We're not going to ask him for free. The things that have changed the most, the one who has had this change of owner, I imagine that instead of getting better, they are getting worse. Bad customer service Mr. Loreto. They should see the kind of people they hire.
