This place literally has pictures of empty tanks just to scam people. I rented a truck with 1/4 tank of gas drove no more than 20 miles on it put 10$ in the tank before dropping it off and they claimed it had an empty tank charing me an extra $70. Straight scammers!!!

The truck itself shows wear. I like how strong it runs. It’s GMC. But no piece in holding sun visor shows no care for our visualization in driving safely. And reek gasoline. The truck gas tank was fixed with bad welding job.

There is NO Uhaul in Portola...even though it's listed as such. And nobody knows where they went or why. So I wish they would delete the incorrect info that they have on their website!!

Everything was fine until I returned the truck to learn that they added an insurance fee despite waiving it when making the reservation, and verbally confirming that it is not added to the reservation.

Just be ready with info they require and they will have you in and out hassle free. Nicer than what you might have expected all the way through.

If it were not for saying they had to get the truck from Oddie and U-Haul Corporate (or the Oddie Location Itself) telling us to bring the truck back to THEIR location and giving us a bunch of bullshit lip and attitude (U-Haul Oddie) when we did what they told us on the phone - which conflicted what I was told here. They even invluded the Dolly, something the guys at the U-Haul on El Rancho forgot when we moved here 5 years ago.I arrived before they opened and picked up the truck fairly quick despite being told it was at the "Oddie Location down the street". It had 3/4th tank of gas in it, and the price was great. The truck had a couple flaws - you had to really slam the driver's door to shut it, and the rain gutter on one side seemed to be bent, but that's nothing considering the truck was clean, nice,w orked, and was surprisingly good on gas, especially dealing with the idiots who drive I-80 like they are in the Monte Carlo Grand Prix.After an argument with the idiots at Oddie, who gave us a lot of attitude the minute we showed up, kept misinforming us on repeat of the wrong location. I returned the truck here and it was easy as can be, and the price was better than I expected or what Oddie/CORP U_haul was quoting us. So yeah, I'd rent from these guys again.

Over priced. Rented a 10ft. Truck for 4 hours, paid $54 and they are asking for additional $54.96. Returned it with gas and no damages.

The worst experience of all.Firstly, the reservation included an insurance fee of $8. Everything usually goes smoothly.However, at the counter, they informed me that the insurance fee was $40. I declined.I rented a trailer and returned the next day. The employee detached the trailer and assured me everything was fine.But two days later, I received a letter stating that the trailer was still in rental. I responded, stating that I had returned it a long time ago.After three days, I received a bill stating that I returned the trailer a week later and they charged me the $40 insurance fee.It is a very poor place.

Placed a reservation a week ahead, they went back on their guarantee and still did not give me my items I bought ahead of time on the website. They did not honor the $50 guarantee either.I planned ahead, I made a reservation for a large uhaul on the website. I paid for a mattress cover and packing tape online, and reserved the truck. They did not have my size, they did not give me the items I prepaid for, and then they diverted me to another uhaul by making another reservation for a smaller truck than what I ordered. This ruined my plans as I needed the larger truck, and I only wanted to make one trip. The $50 guarantee was not honored, I didn't receive the size truck I had reserved and I didn't get the items I paid for and was required to do a charge back on the card. Moving is one of the most stressful experiences, this whole experience and lack of help or service made it much worse. Note: The people were nice about it, but that did not help me and in the end, it all made it worse and more stressful as they passed me onto another store.
