The location at 1430 E. Prater Way, Sparks, NV 89431 is absolutely ridiculous. I cannot tell you how many times there has been issues with their ATM machine. It constantly has issues accepting money and checks. If it’s not down to begin with this time, it decided to go down after it took all my stuff. I know this bank has money so they need to spend a little bit of it and get equipment that actually works for their customers!!! One more time one more time that’s it I’m taking everything out and going to another bank because it’s quicker to drive a few blocks away and make a deposit at a bank that actually has equipment that works rather than stand there and deal with their piece of crap ATM machine!

My wife and I went in today to open an account and we got blessed to have Ashley!!!! She was amazing and we couldn't ask for someone better!!!! We recommend her to the fullest! Thank you so much Ashley!!!!!

Beatriz was amazing!! Super professional with great communication. She answered every question and doubt that I had and kept me updated on what was going on with my loan. Not only did she help me with my loan and made the process easy but she did this while I’m in a different state than her! If you’re looking for a mortgage loan adviser she is THE BEST!! 10 outta 10 recommend!

If I could rate this no stars, I would. 1/28/25 I called ahead to the branch and was told they could handle my $3000 withdrawal, as I’m a member at a different credit union. I sped as quickly as I could from work - I get off at 4:45 PM - only to be told by both the teller and a manager, Eric, that I didn’t speak to anyone in the branch (this after having been transferred by a rep to speak to someone at the branch itself, so I did speak to someone), and that they couldn’t handle my withdrawal because they had closed the vault at 5 PM… they’re open until 5:30. He even had the gall to tell me to go to a casino and attempt it as an advance, paying humongous fees in the process, just to get money that is mine, out of a linked-CU’s account.
Do your banking business elsewhere, you’re going to get rude treatment and be lied to over the phone. If they’re doing this to a Co-Op member, then I can only imagine how badly they treat their normal customers.

Ashley Padua NMLS# 2041059 is amazing! I had an issue with a release of lien for a family members vehicle that was not recorded by the previous credit union. The DMV would not let us sell the vehicle without documentation on behalf of United Federal Credit Union which took a lot of time and resources to resolve. Ashley knew who to contact and quickly provided the requested information. Ashley is an asset to United Federal Credit Union and should be recognized.

UFCU offers great services at competitive rates. I've been banking with them for almost 13 years and have had almost no issues.
Be aware when you're attempting to purchase a vehicle out of state, specifically California, there might be some issues.
The staff at this branch have always been friendly and kind. Sometimes the line can move slow but they work through it efficiently.

The absolute worst bank that claims to be a Credit union ever! They will find ways to steal your money and then pretend that you owe them. I havent used my CC in 6 months and they are making me pay them over 1500.00 dollars. Save yourself the headache and don't use them EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!

My father use to bank here when he was alive .. I got executor of the estate, I was tasked with dealing with all of his estate financially... This bank let his ex wife close down the account... The let her forge two checks of his after they had been divorced for 25 years... Because she moved the funds around before closing the account there is nothing they can do... I have already taken them to court and got a settlement for her closing the account. . And know they will not let me get a copy of the two checks to give to Reno PD....Do not bank with this company.. now I have to go and get another criminal attorney to pursue the two checks and spend probably another 5 grand to get two forged checks that they have no issues with
