Former Golds gym and has all the vibes, equipment and support expected of a Golds.Very motivating crowd, inclusive and considerate staff, more than one rack per location, cages, traditional and larger OLY style plates.***Also extremely clean facility!***.I’ve gone for about 2 years, during chemo, hospitalizations, surgical recovery etc. always felt safe and comfortable using equipment when I see staff cleaning the entire floor multiple times a day.

I’ve been a member of Empower since it was Gold’s gym on 5th street. It is an incredible place to workout, the vibe there is amazing. I’ve never felt out of place or nervous to go workout. They are like my family there. I have many times asked the owners themselves and some of the staff for help with spotting on heavy lifts or tips on form and they have always helped with a smile on their face. When I moved out of town, I would constantly tell Jeff he needed to open a location in Las Vegas, then Denver when I moved there. This gym is like no other. I would highly recommend it to anyone local or just passing through. You won’t regret it.

The best gym in Spring Creek! I was ecstatic when my favorite Elko Gym expanded to Spring Creek! Extremely clean, and the equipment is awesome. But the greatest thing about Empower is the staff, and the owners. Everyone is treated as family and friends, there are no strangers at empower only friends that are meeting for the 1st time. The owners do so much for our community, especially the kids. With people like them in your corner offering support, encouragement, and advice you will never fail. I am honestly thankful for them on a daily bases, they have been there through all my successes and my stumbles, and I couldn't ask for a better place or people to walk my journey with. If you are not going to this gym you are seriously missing out.

What an amazing gym! Great equipment and various classes. Maranna signed us up and was very knowledgeable, patient with all of our questions, and has an upbeat personality that is off the charts! There are two locations, and if you pay the small fee of $7.00 a month with membership, you may use both gyms. Check them out online.

Be sure to time out your workout accordingly. There isn't a lot of options for equipment and a lot of people will just take over a piece you're on without asking if you're still using it. It feels less like a family friendly place and more like a frat house.UpdateIn response to the owner. I guess it is too much to expect that equipment will be shared at your gym, it is too much to expect that people will keep their clothes on at your gym, and it is too much to expect that the children in the daycare will not hear every curse word about a 100 times at your gym. My expectations are certainly way too high.

Amazing gym run by an amazing family.No matter your fitness level there's something for you at Empower. Machines, free weights, strongman and powerlifting implements to fitness classes both for cardio and strength.

I have been a member of this gym for a year and I definitely wouldn't go anywhere else. Everything is clean, they have so many different variety of classes. Different equipment. It's nice to go into a gym and not feel judged, or stared at the whole time. The staff is all so friendly happy to help with anything. I have made some great friends co ing here. The daycare has great employees that will treat your kid like their own. The owner and his family really care about their gym and members. I would highly recommend this gym.

I love this gym! The staff is super friendly and the gym is super clean. The classes they offer are amazing! The instructions are well rounded, personable, and encouraging!! The daycare is fun for the kids and are always willing to put together fun crafts for them. I’ve been attending this gym since the doors opened and have nothing but good to say!
