We had a problem with the car picked up in San Francisco, we were passing through the lake and I called this office to get a solution. The lady was very kind, she solved the problem immediately! Despite my difficulties with English on the phone, she tried to help me by explaining how to get there, reassuring me

Rented a car for a week. Nicole was my Avis rep, appreciated the fast service and not getting the typical push to buy additional insurance. Great experience, friendly staff, good vehicle.

!!! Careful close to fraudulent local employee !!
Rented a car without reservation, wanted the car at 7am and dropping it off 2 days later at 3pm. Also wanted to wave insurance. The lady told me they have special local rates and will charge only for 200$ and two days she can't remove insurance because prices would go up. Got an car which was not fully filed here she said also it's fine just drop it off with the same fuel amount.
Ok after returning the car she said everything is fine and I was heading out. Got then charged 390$ because insurance was added got charged three days and the missing fuel.
After contacting the hotline they removed as "courtesy" the charges but had to proof the fuel status where I had luckily a picture taken from. (Already had a bad feeling) They were saying no local deals exist and it was a big misunderstanding while I exactly emphasized these points with the lady onsite.
Long story short never trust her anything let her document anything formally or just book online and don't even talk to her. Absolutely no go for a big company like avis.

If you need to travel from SF to South Shore, this is the perfect pickup/drop off spot.I also want to highlight the work of Monique who found my wallet in the car and went out of her way to FedEx it to me!! She gave amazing customer service and deserves a bonus and/or promotion! I will recommend this place!

The cleanest rental car I’ve ever gotten. Super easy check in and out process. Make sure to not book online, just come in and book in person.Returns were super easy. Just drop off the key.Nicole was awesome!

They offer out cars that can get you killed. Horrible customer service from corporate. The desk lady at location was wonderful.

I do understand the frustration of renting a car, it's just like airlines. People only seem to get upset when their plans don't go perfectly. Shannon was there Saturday when we rented our car, she was slammed with customers and the only one working. Although we waited a while everything was confirmed and completed. Thank you Shannon for the help and being there to get us what we needed.

I had no idea why the rest had bad review on this area. I was renting Avis car from other city and we got a problem on the car in Lake Tahoe, I went to this branch to seek from help. It's popular area and no additional car available for me to swap, I wait for couple hour then check back with us and we manage to get a car swap (although swap from Full Size to Mid Size) but it get our issues solve. and most important is, the lady was so friendly to help us out to sort this thing, checking with her manager for policy etc. I would say she love her job and deal with each customer the same way. I'm so sorry didn't manage to get your name but you are awesome! She had the best service I ever received from car rental everywhere else in the world.
