I do understand the frustration of renting a car, it's just like airlines. People only seem to get upset when their plans don't go perfectly. Shannon was there Saturday when we rented our car, she was slammed with customers and the only one working. Although we waited a while everything was confirmed and completed. Thank you Shannon for the help and being there to get us what we needed.

I had no idea why the rest had bad review on this area. I was renting Avis car from other city and we got a problem on the car in Lake Tahoe, I went to this branch to seek from help. It's popular area and no additional car available for me to swap, I wait for couple hour then check back with us and we manage to get a car swap (although swap from Full Size to Mid Size) but it get our issues solve. and most important is, the lady was so friendly to help us out to sort this thing, checking with her manager for policy etc. I would say she love her job and deal with each customer the same way. I'm so sorry didn't manage to get your name but you are awesome! She had the best service I ever received from car rental everywhere else in the world.

Total incompetence. We waited for about an hour for her to serve one customer. All the cars were dirty/ unwashed. She told us we could take a dirty car or nothing despite our reservation. Avoid this business!

Rented a car from this location with an 8am pickup. The location was staffed by one women who was very frazzled because there were 7 people in line. She kept yelling I'm going as fast as I can! She not only had to process the reservation, she then had to run across to the garage to get the car for you! I've been in line for an hour now and still 1 person in front of me. I was the 3rd person in line. Avis! Fix this! I won't rent from you again.

Today i went to avis in hardrock hotel to rent a car at 12:30 pm and i waited long time for the lady to show up and she said no cars. Then i looked online in expedia and i found a car ready for pick up from same location full size car and i brought and i went to here and she said in a rude way , i told you i dont have cars im here i know i am an independent worker and she said things doesnt make sense and she said i will cancel your reservation i told her okay , then she went into computer and then she said u paid for full size car but i only have a mid size car i will surprise she just said that she doesnt have any cars and she want to cancel my reservation i took it even thought i paid for full size and i didnt say anything but that was completely unprofessional . I am not going back there again .

Walked up and rented a car for 3 days, and at least they had a car available. However, the under 25 rates are unfairly steep!
