“I left an iPad in my room and was advised to contact MtnPostal by the Inn, where we stayed. I had my iPad back in my hands in two days, leaving S. Lake Tahoe and arriving in San Francisco. Add to that that Apple has really provided safe guards in the Find My section of iOS these days. I didn't lose any sleep or any $$$. “Excellent place to send out ups packages or envelopes. I sent my cologuard sample in a sealed sealed box haha. They had no problem with it at all. Very cool.
The only con is that the Indian lady's accent was so strong I really coulnt understand her. So she showed me on her cellphone.”

“Coming from North Upper Truckee this is the closest post office was bit reluctant to come here because there is one review only and not very good. However I glad I did, the post lady that helped me was super friendly and efficient. I wish I remember her name big kudo to her she deserves a 6 stars for customer service! I hope her manage sees this review I was there 12/28 around 400pm.”
“We’re the people at the post office always a little confused & usually unprepared. I was ready to catch a few eye rolls. Actually not in the slightest! Cory was incredibly helpful. Above & beyond to help us & getting our packages shipped. While also being fast & tentative to the rest of the patrons. 5 star service in a town that needs more of this!”
“This is one of the few shipping options in town and luckily its in a shopping center where you can get a lot done. the bigger deal is you can print directly from Canva to this location. glossy flyers for cheap! The flyers are durable and hold up for years.”
“Greater Genoa citizens don't receive direct mail service at their residences and businesses. Instead, most everyone has a box at the Genoa Post Office. So depending on the time of day, the Genoa Post Office is a happening place. Getting in and out of the parking lot can be an adventure in itself, and with COVID, it's sometimes hard to recognize your neighbors. Now that Gayle and I live just outside of Genoa Proper, I enjoy the experience. When Gayle first registered for our PO Box, the postal employee immediately noted that Vassar was a Genoa Proper name. That's true as her Dad's family arrived here around the 1940s. So that makes only me as the California invader (via Iowa) in our house. :) If there's too much mail to fit inside the box, I'll either see a key inside the slot, directing me to a larger "locker" space to retrieve my package. Otherwise, I'll see a yellow or green slip, directing me to the desk. The folks working at the post office are nice and with a local flair that I relish. They'll even collect my MIL's mail for me to deliver, no questions asked.”

Update: A supervisor reached out and rescheduled the delivery. She was very professional and understanding. Delivery driver 1 star. Supervisor 5 stars”

“The postal system is under total pressure to close locations but us locals have written to keep this branch open. The postmaster Bill is excellent and the front counter staff know their business. Morgan, kudos to you! Flying military overseas in Iraq and Afghanistan these guys took care of me like family. Larry Suter”
