I took the time to write this review since I called several times and the issue has not been taken care by any Starbucks associates at Harveys Lake Tahoe. I made a purchase with two partial payments; one cash and one with my bank card. A few days after the purchase, I checked my bank account and I noticed that I have been overcharged. They charged my account not only for the amount I authorized, but also for the amount I paid in cash. I have kindly called several times to see if anybody could assist me with this issue, however they keep telling me they will call me back.

We had an incredible stay at this large hotel in the heart of South Lake Tahoe! The location was unbeatable, right in the midst of all the action. The amenities were amazing, from the spacious rooms to the top-notch service. The hotel staff was friendly and attentive, making our experience even more enjoyable. I especially loved the breathtaking views of Lake Tahoe and the surrounding mountains. You've also got many food options in the hotel and at a short walk. It was a truly unforgettable experience, and I can't wait to visit again!

This place has really gone downhill. The only reason why I gave it three stars and not one is because the bell staff were super friendly and great. Ron and Gerry were kind, professional and overall very helpful and quick! The room was terrible. The TV was way too small and way too far away from the bed. The worst part was the peeling wallpaper from the bathroom. We can't stoplaughing at the sticker they used to keep it together LOL!The casino was so incredibly smoky. So much that we just couldn't stay there long. Tables were sparse and staff seemed to be lacking at the bars and lounges. The place definitely needs a little TLC! Won't be back for awhile until we are aware of renovations.

IF YOU ARE A WOMAN PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE ALONE!!!I went this past weekend with two of my friends and I assure you that we were almost trafficked! We checked into our room and the baggage man came to deliver our bags. Two minutes later a random hispanic male knocked on our door with his head down saying "housekeeping". It was strange because we didn't ask for it and we could hear a click noice as if he was trying to get in. We said no thank you and he walked away. We ended up leaving and coming back a few hours later and our door was completely broken! (see picture). We called front desk immediately and notified them. They were so nonchalant and unconcerned. He did not take anything out of our bags. everything in the room was still in place. It was so creepy. We did not want to stay and asked for a refund. We didn't know if he had put cameras in there or spiked our drinks. Maintenance man came, looked at the door and said " you probably just didn't close it. Or you left the latch on at the bottom and it didn't shut". I replied "sir the door is off the hinges! it had nothing to do with us!!" he said he would fix it but I didn't even trust him at that point. When we went to the front desk the manager (a lady) would not give us her name and gave us her boss name instead. security called housekeeping which confirmed that they NEVER SENT ANYONE TO OUR DOOR. I looked up the area and found that there is a huge trafficking ring (allegedly) going on up there. We ended up staying at a different hotel (because it was late) and leaving super early in the morning. Front desk had no concern and said that has never happened but I found another review on here saying the same thing! They were just staring at us while we were talking. No concern at all. Ladies Please be careful !! I truly feel like they all knew what was going on .oh and they have roaches!

We usually come by here and stay for a couple nights to gamble and explore around Stateline especially at Heavenly Village. There wasn't really much going on around here in this resort, but just to simply play slot machines in the casino, which is nice to play with. They do have an arcade at the first floor, but it's pretty small. The only thing that really stands out is the suite we decided to stay at. The rooms are big and there are a couple of bathrooms. However, they don't have complementary water bottles not even inside the mini refrigerator. So far, this is a fine resort to stay if you want to explore around Stateline and gamble.

This is perhaps the worst property I've visited in the USA in the past decade, worthy of negative stars. Things started poorly when I arrived at 1pm Friday to find only one checkin clerk who took 10 minutes to checkin the guest in front of me. Are you kidding me - this is a peak time?! Tried to be polite but clerk had a bad attitude. Not a good look for front line customer service.Of course my room was not ready so I went to the gym to change. Waited 5 min but no staff at the front desk - finally flagged a kind employee walking down the hall who got someone to open the door. The gym itself is ok but 1/2 ellipticals was broken (broken equipment is a common sight throughout the property). Returned to the bell desk to check my suitcases and waited another 5min for a bellhop to show up (lack of personnel another common theme).Got to my 5th floor ROH room to find a view of a wall. Yes literally surrounded by walls! Almost worst room in hotel. Called down to switch rooms and was told I can get a lakeview for another $51 per night. Of course that room not ready either (even at 3pm). Eventually received a key to upgraded room (11th floor) much nicer except for cannibis smoke from bathroom vents. Tolerable with bathroom door closed. Back to the room - one bar of soap, no daily cleaning (sorry covid excuse doesn't hunt anymore), no bottled waters despite massive bogus "resort fee". Plus $8 per device for high speed internet. I kid you not! But otherwise ok though certainly not worth $250/nt. Went back to casino to find tunnel to walk to Harrah's. Good luck. Many escalators (and restrooms) out of service and no signage. Casino mostly empty (on peak Friday night) - cashier cage closed, apparently Harveys is now simply overflow for Harrahs slots. Most bars and all restaurants close early. Room service? Fergedaboutit! Elevator reeks of cannibis (another common theme). Players with non-service dogs sitting at bar playing slots.Next day we go to Mexican restaurant for lunch. Maybe 1/2 full at noon, but manager says he cannot seat 10 together. So we move 4 tables together and voila - all done. Food is pretty good. Waitress tells us she cannot accept more than 2 cards and can only do an even split. Pathetic. Sunday 10am I go to cash my slot ticket. Only one person at Harrahs cashier who is taking 10min to deal with a situation. 4 employees in back who see me but none offers to spend 15 seconds cashing my ticket. Again, more staff with bad attitudes. Checkout by text and ask for email receipt. Never sent. Final insult - give ticket to valet and they want to charge me $15 more even though I already paid $20/day on my hotel bill "Sorry sir we can't see that you paid". So I have to return to front desk for receipt. Hand to valet who still looks confused but finally gets vehicle. Hasta la vista!First visited Harveys almost 4 decades ago. At that time it was one of the premium properties on the lake. But seems like.a dead man walking under current ownership. Harvey must be rolling in his grace. Overall this is probably the worst casino I have ever visited with the exception of Sahara Reno. Entire frontline staff needs basic customer service training. Very sad how far this property has sunk. Can't go much lower.Practice tip: head across street to CVS for cheap sodas and snacks. Bring your inhaler.

Some of the rudest staff I've had to deal with in a long time. They do not believe in customer service, honesty or honoring the pricing they provided me upon their own direct booking. They threw two women out onto the street because the individual who paid for their room, which was fully pre-paid, won $5000 at roulette! Does this seem like a hotel with integrity to you? Absolutely not. When you walk in the door, it reeks like axe body spray enough to choke on it. Not only will I never go to this hotel again, I will make it my mission to watch them go under. Bullies, liars and thieves is what you can expect from this place.UPDATED:Outrageous response from the manager that illustrated how out of touch and dishonest the people you will have to deal with are if you stay in this awful place.

Our trip was Oct 5, 2023 for a little getaway. We booked a free one night stay with our Wyndham rewards classic king room nonsmoking 360 sq ft room. Pros:We were very surprised to be upgraded to a Luxury King room #1215 in the Tahoe tower when we checked in. That's never happened to us before. When we went into the room it was a spacious 525 sq foot King room with a beautiful lake view. No smells. Bed was very comfortable. Staff we encountered on several occasions was great and they were friendly. Sheets and carpet were clean. Coffee maker in bathroom. By the bed stand on both sides 2 plugs & 2 USB plugs for charging. We had a great stay and would stay again if in the area. Cons were for our room condition only:Dried up soda spray & drips above bed. Large Hair clump on top of shower drain A few hairs here & there can be missed but not what we saw. No reason if room cleaned and walk through done guests should see these things wrong in a room. Other issues maintenance needs to fix: Toilet paper holder is L shaped & hangs downward needs to be tightened as roll falls off. Light by bed was burned out. The shower door didn't close all the way about a. inch and a half opening. So when taking shower we had a good amount of water on the ground soaking the towel mat completely. Tv had a lot of pixilation in the images on most channels & hard to watch the show we wanted to see. A couple channels were just fine so don't think it was the Tv. These were all reported at check out.

Unfortunately, not impressed or happy with our stay. The only "positive" for this hotel is the proximity to the lake and decent "partial views" from our 10th floor room in the Mountain Tower. (I doubt anything below that will have a lake view tho.) Being the original tower and zero renovations, our room was horrible. The smell, the old/hard spring mattress, the dirty carpets, filthy drapes & dust everywhere- you name it, just horrible! The bathroom had black mold over the tub!! Super gross! The shower curtain would not close, the rod was loose and caused the curtain to sink to center and water mess all over the floor. After check-in and discovering the room we were assigned to, I requested a room change to the Tahoe Tower but request was denied. I was told that "everything was booked" (for our Mon/Tues night stay) so no other choice than to suck it up and make the best of the quick stay as we enjoyed most of our time on the lake anyway. Just wish we would have had the option of a nice relaxing night after a long day of travel.

I had a nice experience at Starbucks inside of Harveys South Lake Tahoe. I was greeted by Anthony. He took my order in a timely manner. But, I realized I made a mistake on my drink order. He quickly corrected it without any problem or attitude. I gave him extra tip for his customer service.

I went here with my Elite Yelp friends to eat dinner at Hell's Kitchen. They were having a special event and valet was 50 bucks. Lucky for my status valet was free. So nice. The valet took down my card. We went inside and they were doing a free tasting of pre made drinks. Like the ones you get at Costco. We of course had to try some. We made our way up to Hell's Kitchen for dinner. So yummy. There are no restrooms in the restaurant and I had to walk forever to get to the bathroom. How inconvenient. You walk out the restaurant and go right to the end of the casino. You have to go up two escalators and it's all the way to the back. Wow. Wish they had more restrooms here. I wanted to gamble after dinner and I didn't see a high roller section for the slots. They use to have one right across from the restaurant. I asked the craps table and the pit boss said they don't have one anymore. How disappointing. I will have to go to Harrah's where there is a high roller section. Of course I still gambled here anyway. Did pretty good too. As I was getting my car at the valet the guy said I will have to pay. I told him I didn't need to. He asked for my card and he said ok. He retrieved my car and I went to open the door for my wife and he just walked away, leaving my door open. I asked my wife if the key was in the car and she said it was. I was holding his tip in my hand and looked at him. He came over and took the tip but didn't say a word. I guess I got him upset for some reason. Kind of rude of him. I guess I shouldn't have given him a tip. It sure left a bad taste in my mouth. The previous valet was totally nice, the one who took my car. Of course I tipped him too. Oh well.Still left a winner.
