Valorie and Doug take customer service to a whole new level. We were interested in their facial products and valorie set us up in our own station with all the samples and let us play. They are some of the nicest people we have met in Lake Tahoe.

It was my first time getting a cut here. Very friendly environment, loved the energy. Doug got my fade under control, he took his time and made sure I would be happy with the results. I look civilized once again, thanks Doug! I'll definitely be back! ??

Valorie and Doug have such a beautiful salon space and are the nicest folks! You can tell that they love their work and are so talented as well. I would most definitely suggest to any visitors or locals to visit their salon. They are so professional and friendly, you would love spending your time there!

I came in on a vacation and wanted to get a haircut/color since I barely have time in my busy life. I have short, blond fair hair with some grays coming in and Valorie and Doug both worked together to ensure they got the color just right, and Doug gave me probably the best haircut I've had since I've gone short. They are so friendly and warm, gave me lots of advice about the area and even though they knew I was out-of-towner and likely not going to return, Doug put in lots of time and effort to do a great job. They clearly are perfectionists. The salon is really attractive as well with Valorie's artwork displayed and fun, funky design. Highly recommend!

Doug and Valarie made this by far the best experience I’ve had at any haircutter/salon, hands down. I showed up with a basic idea. Doug worked with my hair and said ? what about this? I said sure! He styled my hair in a way I’ve never seen and I love it. You can tell he has a great pride for what he does. Doug and Valarie catered to me with cold drinks and great conversation. Very kind and genuine people. Thank you guys for the great experience! I will be back. :)

This salon is phenomenal! Valerie took so much time and care to give me a great, fresh cut. It's the best I've ever felt walking out of a salon. She made my hair thick and lively again! Definitely go here.

I received a men's haircut with Doug, without question the best I've ever gotten. Both Doug and V were super friendly and have an amazing shop. They're doing great things to stay hygienic during these times and highly recommend it to everyone

Got my first post-quarantine haircut here. Doug was awesome and the haircut was just as good as the place I was going in SF that costs 50% more. Easy to schedule online and they have pretty rigorous sanitation procedures. All the other reviews here are by women and I know some guys feel weird about getting a haircut at a "salon" vs a barber shop, but if you're a dude looking for a great haircut in the area definitely go here!

Awesome spot! Doug and his wife are both super sweet and clearly know what they are doing. Val was able to squeeze me in on a cancellation just in time to cut my mop before an important job interview. Doug did a great job, and gave me options throughout the process. They both seem to really care about their customers. I felt relaxed and comfortable the entire time. I'll be back for sure. Thanks, both of you. (Fingers crossed on that interview - if I land it, it's def because of the haircut! )

I just want to inform the ladies up here at the lake that Fawn does the best eyelash extensions I've ever had! She is beyond thorough and her quality of work is top notch! Im so excited to have found her and she's so close! We're lucky ladies! (Or boys, whoever!)

Review by Julie, Scott's wife: Valorie and Doug are my hair heroes. After getting a BAD haircut elsewhere, I sought help from them. Valorie took time to look through my very thick hair, talk to me about what I wanted, then gently and meticulously cut just the right style for me. They are great people, so easy to talk to and very positive. Their shop is clean and inviting. They carry a variety of products for purchase but don't push anything. After looking for someone in the Tahoe area for 2 years, I will definitely stay with them! Thank you Valorie! Thank you Doug!
