A gnawing, uncomfortable belief that I've been consistently overcharged at the Verdi U.S.P.S location forced me to change to the Robb Drive location for my mailing services. When a small first-class envelope is charged as a $7 parcel, then it's worth checking the veracity of Verdi's clerk. It turns out that not only was I subjected double talk, but double charges, too, at Verdi. Caveat emptor, bigtime.

This review is for the Verdi NV post office. I've lived in the area for a number of years. This little post office is great w / friendly and efficient staff. One caveat - it's a small PO staff so they close for lunch daily. The 2021 lunch closure time is 12:30 to 1 pm. You might still be able to get in to check your PO Box (??) but the desk is closed for services during the staff lunch time. FYI.

Verdi Post Office, in fact Verdi is not located in Reno NV. It is located in Verdi NV 89439!
I have been trying to correct this thru Google for several years. They said they can’t verify it, but if they just checked Washoe County’s map they could easily verify it.

So here is an oddity of getting too close to the mountains... Postal service does not come to your doorstep! - Yes, you have to go to the PO proper to get your mail from your POBOX, which they do provide for free, in lieu of door-to-door services. So yes, everyone in Verdi goes to the post office regularly. The staff here is small and super-efficient!

choose a route mail service is here and the old west can not be the old west with mail service is not that nice to understand these days of mistrust in all that these days were built to move foreward for we make the call and our children climb out there shell of life or call for more of the same u.s. mail service at the core the real ground floor.

LOVE this Office and it's employees except when....occasionally I receive items that should be delivered by UPS to my door (as I have chosen or the company requires) through my PO Box through some agreement the two services have made. The problem with this is I live in a rural area that does not receive door to door service from the post office and therefore only uses PO Box's for us. Every once in a while I get a sticker stuck on something by the Post Office (who has accepted from UPS for delivery) items that have my street address on them. The sticker is threatening to return to sender items if I do not use my po box for delivery.??? UPS does not accept PO Boxes for delivery .. Anyone see the conundrum here??
