Kind and courteous staff. Privately booked for a wedding rehearsal dinner, no detail was overlooked. This place is very warm and cozy and the staff feels like family.

I made a reservation for a one night stay, I got a confirmation email and everything was in order, or so I thought? I drove up to VC and was ready to check in at 4pm with my overnight bags and all. No one answered the door and no one was answering the phone, as I called the number that was listed on the door for check-ins. I walked to the Cider Factory restaurant to ask a worker how to check in. There was a young man working and he said he would call, I forget the man's name he said he was calling, to ask for me. Come to find out; they "reversed" reservations and they were closed that night. I did not get any phone calls or emails telling me that, so I was beyond clueless and also upset. Mind you, the guy who was on duty or whatever didn't have the manhood to tell me this, he had the young man who isn't even associated with the Inn rely the message to me. VERY unprofessional. It was a busy weekend and I was not able to find a room to stay at any of the other hotels/motels in the area. I would never recommend this place to anyone after that experience!

Beautiful Victorian style rooms with private bathroom. The hotel and restaurant are family owned and operated.

The rooms were cute, everything was fine. My only complaint is I left my very expensive hair straightener in the bathroom. I realized this as soon as I got home and called. Nobody answered I left a message and all my contact information and nobody ever bothered to return my call ?

Fantastic. We've stayed here several times over the years. Rooms are 1800s style. Breakfast is included and it's not 'continental '. Its bacon, eggs, pancakes with all the fixings. Highly recommend this spot

The Bed and Breakfast was perfect for our 30th Anniversary. We were disappointed that the Restaurant was closed the day we were there, but had a nice dinner elsewhere. We arrived on our motorcycle where there was adequate parking and our precious ride was secure. Our room was small, but quaintly decorated and the ceiling fan was nice touch for a good night's sleep. The bed was comfortable and it was so quiet, both during the night and morning that we slept until 9 a.m. Breakfast consisted of an avacado omelet, bacon, hash browns, fruit, juice, coffee and tasty crumpets. There is a beautiful patio for outside dining, but we chose to eat inside. We will return with our family and rent rooms in the same house so we can enjoy the patio together. The Hostess was friendly and accommodating. A little more than we are used to paying, but well worth it.

Great food and super service. I ate here with my family. Everyone loved it including my sons (8 and 13). The food was delicious, similar top pricier restaurants in large cities but a better value. The beer selection was great, especially for Trappist beers. I would recommend this restaurant top anyone stopping in VC.

My husband and I just spent two nights at this cozy little B&B. We loved it! The rooms are clean, Quite and beautifully furnished in the1800’s style. The breakfast is delicious and more than you can eat, in a lovely little dinning room. The pictures don’t do this place justice at all. I loved that it was just off the beaten path but still within walking distance of the Main Street. Edith Palmers is enchanting in its historical charm. My husband said the TV’s need to be bigger, but who rents a room in Virginia City to watch TV?! Lol
