The Virginia City Inn is a well-maintained hotel in a perfect location right on the edge of town, allowing guests to walk anywhere in Virginia City. Many find it a fun stop and a great place to stay, with a fantastic view from the back grassy area that features a tree swing. The property is a little dated but clean and cozy. Rooms are small but cozy, very clean and quite, with comfy beds, and include a refrigerator and microwave. Some rooms have a bit soft and old beds, and may lack closets or end tables, with occasional cleaning oversights noted. The staff is consistently described as friendly and very nice. The hotel is super dog-friendly, with a nice grassy area in the back. It is easy to unload to your door. While no breakfast is provided on-site, welcome drink coupons and free breakfast coupons for Denny's are appreciated. Some guests are sad about recent booking changes. Overall, it is considered a good price and a place many would stay again.

Very good: clean, comfy bed, good TV, good wifi, nice people, easy parking, and good prices. What more could you want? At the south end of town so outside the crazy zone but still walkable. Very pleased.

Lovely and clean place to stay while visiting VC. Owner was very friendly too. Really appreciated him holding us a room when we checked out, but our plans changed and could not find a room back in town. Will definitely stay there again!
