Five stars for our tour guide. She was amazing, I felt like she really loved the place. I also applaud her patience with her tour people, there were a few people in our group that I wanted to treat like 8 year olds and tell them to stop touching/pay attention/don't wonder, etcetera. But she never seemed fazed (except one room but that's cause she had an experience there and I could see her inching toward the door being creeped which was great) and the whole experience was a very fun, chill, spooky activity. Plus ticket comes with a discount drink you can take with you. Bonus points for that!

On 10-28-24 we took the tour in Virginia city , Bats and Belfrey. It was a great tour that was historical in nature that included some paranormal activities that included the sb-7 spirit box session that revealed 2 different spirit voices which was exciting. At the end of this amazing tour, we were handed off to a different tour guide that took us into the old Washoe club, renown for the ghost adventure crews numerous investigations on the Travel Channel & Discovery plus on TV. The Washoe club was very dark, very creepy. Almost the entire group of people we were with were taking pictures using flash and no flash also video recording.i took 50 or so pictures during the tour but didn't look at them until we got home. I'm including 2 pictures that I personally took. No filters or flash were used. My camera was set to night which uses the low level light of an area to help with taking pictures in complete darkness. The first picture is of a mirror next to a solid wall. A solid wall. The anomaly is what appears to be a giant hole in the wall that starts halfway through the mirror I was taking a picture of and ending 10-15' away from the mirror. Remincant of a portal? The second pic is me in a room alone taking another picture of a mirror in complete darkness. The red and blue lights are glow stick wrist bracelets. Both pictures are of mirrors, no flash, night setting on phone camera and 100% legit.

Took the tour it was very informative but stay with the group because getting off on your own is spooky. My wife took a picture in the mirror and swears she caught a shadow figure behind the door.Blow up the pic and see what you think!

First time doing a ghost tour and it’s very disappointing. Unknowledgeable and rude ghost tour host who is pushing you through the rooms quickly while telling you that she has a time limit. There was a total of 5 of us and 3 people at the bar. Rude bartender. I’m sensitive to spirits and didn’t pick up anything. The scariest part of the tour was the unsafe conditions of the building. It would have been more interesting learning more about the building. The history of the Crypt was very interesting otherwise just another want to be haunted tourist trap building.

Crypt and saloon are great. Tour is for tall fast people. If you are slower or older you will get left behind and the tour guide will get frustrated with you for not keeping up and even make a thing of it in front of everyone. Tour guide seemed inexperienced and uncomfortable and didn't do usual tour guide things like tell everyone to spread into a room so everyone could get in. Some of us had to wait until the room cleared to get in to see what she was talking about and then she would get on us for lagging behind. I wouldn't do the upstairs tour part again myself but I do support the overall site and would just say to get at the front and be ready to move swiftly and aggressively keep your place so you can get into the rooms and see everything. I still recommend doing it, to support the event and hopefully they can get enough funds to fix up the building and improve the tour experience. If you go to learn of the history of the building, you will be disappointed. It is all about what shadows or ghosts employees or visitors have seen. Very little is said otherwise. I have no new knowledge of the location after going. No memorable names or stories of the past.

The Washoe club is located in downtown Virginia City. As horror fans, hubby thought it would be fun to do a ghost tour and make the most of our day planned in Virginia city. Our tour guide was awesome and the restroom next to their bar was where I personally felt activity, but the wedding chapel was the creepiest of all places visited even more then the crypt! It's family friendly if your kids are older of course and they even offer overnight stays for you brave souls out there. It's been a few years since we have gone up there just to hang out, but they offer tours daily and please donate to their cause. It helps with upkeep of the building and to keep the tours cost down. We took our older two kids and our nephew with us in October before Halloween. I recommend paying for parking in a lot just past this establishment, so you're close and your car is safe from other tow zones for the day.

Rose Hill Paranormal investigations comes here every year in June to do an overnight investigation. 6-24-2023 did not disappoint. We had so much activity it will take us several days to go through all the evidence we gathered. Can't wait to post on the Washoe page.

This was an awesome experience!! We have never been on a ghost tour, and this one did not disappoint. Not only did we get responses but learned some Virginia City history that I never knew. The staff are fantastic, friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this tour!!

Fantastic tour! This is the first ghost tour I've done where I actually felt scared. The wallpaper pealing and creaking walls just gave me a full on horror movie vibe. If you're in Virginia City, this tour is a must!

Great place to have a drink then do the tour. Keep in mind you can see the museum, spiral staircase, and stone room (crypt) in the back without doing the tour. Tour was worth the $10 but might be a bit unexciting for those that don't buy into the whole ghost/supernatural thing. If you are tight on time (or money) and aren't a Ghost enthusiast, you wouldn't be sorry you missed the tour but otherwise I'd say it's definitely in the top 4 things to do in this little historic town.Tour guide was informative but definitely was catering to the Ghost Hunter Crowd but I refrained from asking hard questions in order to not impede on the other people's enjoyment. Kids in the group loved it. In the Winter, bundle up as the tour is in the unheated area of the building. Didn't eat here but bar service was great.

Came all the way from sweden to visit the famous places they have in town. They didnt have a tour planned but they put one together for me and a few more people. Super cool place wether you believe in the paranormal or not. And also, the workers are super nice, the guides really care about the quality of their tours and last but not least, the place is beautiful. Definetly worth a visit if you have a few minutes to spare
