“Finally, a place that professionally catalogs the High-Desert Scrap Economy. Most of the 'inventory' here looks like it was liberated from a rusty Conex box or a shed listing at a 45-degree angle out in the Ranchos. It’s a 5-star experience for anyone who wants to buy back the junk their grandpa left to rot in a field thirty years ago.

The 'antiques' are a goldmine of pioneer-tier engineering—I saw a rusted bench vise from the Truman administration priced like a family heirloom, and enough mismatched locally sourced copper kettles to rewire a '96 Ford Explorer. It’s the only spot in town that doesn't smell like Mad Dog 20/20; it just smells like dust, WD-40, and the slow, agonizing passage of time.

I watched an old-timer in a 10-gallon hat try to barter a used car battery for a vintage 'No Trespassing' sign to hang on his leaning shed. It’s the peak of the stagnant life, but with a price tag attached. If you enjoy browsing through the physical remains of a town that stopped evolving in 1982, this is your sanctuary.”

“The Lady at this store Margaret she said her name was. Super nice and accommodating. Full of local information and courteous and helpful to even check the coffee place for us if it was open. The best thing was after we paid for the purchase, she then said "Have you guys checked out the Meow? (and another antique store I forgot what name she said)" Businesses are so greedy and competetive nowadays that its rare to hear someone like Margaret more than happy to support and advertise the other antique stores nearby.”
