“Rooms were clean and beds comfortable so that was a plus. There was alot of noise coming from the hall and the room next door. I guess they need to have better insulation and/or sealing on the doors? Breakfast was great, nice selection and refilled often. The big plus for me was the room entrances were inside so it felt safer to me especially being next to a casino.”

“I liked the retro rooms. Clean and cozy beds. The restaurant wasn’t great , sad salad buffet. But the service was very friendly and nice. The casino was pretty small and bla. Nevada allows smoking indoors, so that’s a drag.”

“We were just passing through Winnemucca and stopped for lunch at the Winner’s Inn casino. During our delicious meal at their restaurant, Star Broiler, we decided to stay the night. The pulled pork sandwich with their homemade onion rings is a must-try. We had a blast gambling in their casino. Their staff is super friendly, especially the front desk hotel staff and the bartenders. We ended the evening with a plate of bbq wings and clam chowder, mmm! The hotel rooms were super clean, cozy and quaint. This is a very historical building, and old photos outlining it’s history decorate the walls of the hotel hall. We will be back!!”

“I have waited a month to post this review because I wasn’t sure I wanted to. My intention with reviews is never to tear a business apart and is always posted with the intention of informing other people of what to expect. I rely a lot on reviews to know what I’m getting myself into and if it’s worth my hard earned money.Pros: They allowed us to bring our cat who we had to travel with at the time and he throughly enjoyed himself. The room was HUGE the biggest room I have ever stayed in. I’m not sure what dog breed restrictions they have, but if you’re traveling with big dogs this would probably be perfect! The kitchen was well equipped with everything you would need to cook and good for a long term visit.Cons:This is a small issue but when we first arrived it was SUPER late like 2am and when I attempted to get into our room I couldn’t open the door. After trying quite a few times I finally went down to the front desk to get assistance. Before I even got the sentence out of my mouth the person at the front desk was already saying “you have to pull the handle up” as if they have this issue all the time. I have never seen a lever handle where you have to pull up to open it instead of pushing it down. I had no problem with it except that this seems to be a reoccurring problem and seems like an installation issue (I may be wrong), so it would’ve been great to know before walking all the way to the room, fiddling with the door handle at 2 am to then have to go all the way back to the front desk. If this was the only issue I had, I would still give it 5 stars.Once the door was open, the real issue was the state of the room. It was pretty dirty and there was furniture that quite clearly needed replacing. Considering we paid around $200 to stay here for 1 night, it’s something I would expect they would put money into replacing.I was able to clean most visible dirt I saw with a wet paper towel, meaning it could’ve easily been cleaned off before we got there. There was a layer of dust built up on top of the refrigerator which I also spent a few minutes cleaning as well. Not really top of my list at 2am.There were huge black streaks all along the hallway and in the morning it was clear they came from the housekeeping carts. Considering the intention of housekeeping is to keep things clean I found this a bit strange.I don’t think any one person or department is to blame and I’m sure that with the time and resources available everyone is doing the best they can.But for me the quality of the room was not equivalent to how much we paid. And I wouldn’t recommend staying here. If you do I wouldn’t pay more than $100 if that’s even possible.I have attached some photos so you can decide if it seems worth the money not. Coming from a housekeeping background, I tend to be a little more critical on cleanliness so it may be something you don’t mind. My mom was with me and she had no problem with the state of the room.”

“I was surprised the room wasn’t carpeted and the bathroom was no unpleasant because of its design…. But the location and price can’t be beat. No per fees! At least when you arrive at 2am.”

“Charming, simple, well priced for those on a budget. With a bonus of free wifi. Beautiful view of the mountains. Very close to the local downtown shopping community.I will stay here again if the option occurs. The only downside, was the vintage heater, it's extremely efficient and my tired self couldn't figure out how to adjust it.Update: Stayed again, got a different room, ran into some of the issues some of the other reviewers have mentioned. Of the 2 rooms I've been in room 14 has the better mattress. On a seasonal note, the little room ac unit is very efficient, hubby had it on & I about froze.”

“Amazing customer service, love the staff, super affordable and super great location, very accommodating, my one and only complaint is that the key cards to the rooms have to get re-magnetized almost every day. But that isn’t a big deal. Anytime I come back to winnemucca I’m coming here!”
