“I have nothing but the nicest and positive things to say about Olsen's. I had used them maybe once or twice last year while because Walmart wouldn't fill a prescription last year when I was discharged from Renown and my insurance required pre-authorized and I offered to pay cash but Walmart wouldn't let me pay cash. So, I went to Olsen's and they filled it without any issues. I had gone there maybe once or twice because it was convenient and I had positive experiences. About a week and a half ago I had my doctor in Reno send over an on going condition and my appointment isn't until November 5th. My doctor sent it to Walmart and when it was confirmed that it was sent to Walmart, I had called Walmart three times and they had not received it and this is not the first time this has happened. When I called the fourth time and prior to that the techs were very rude. When the fourth time came around, the pharmacist got on the phone and said it couldn't be filled because I had received some the week prior and it's always a week supply and is allowed to be done. When my doctor sent it to Walmart he wrote the wrong directions and the pharmacist got rude with me and accused me of having too much of it and my doctor realizing his mistake re-sent and Walmart still refused. I called Olsen's and spoke to the pharmacist Chris who I believe is the owner/manager. I explained the whole situation to him and he was very helpful and told me that he would fill it for me and that I should go to Walmart and get the copy or print out of the prescription that was sent electronically, which I did. I had a not so nice discussion with the pharmacist there and said I'd be taking my business elsewhere. I went over to Olsen's walked up to Chris and introduced myself and he said it would take ten minutes which is much quicker than Walmart. Even my insurance paid for it when Walmart said it would not. Chris couldn't have been nicer. They do an awesome job and are very friendly and the techs are just as nice including Becky and Gloria. Since then I've had all of my heart medications transferred to Olsen's as well as any other prescriptions. They are very knowledgeable and helpful and I couldn't be happier. I recommend Olsen's to anyone here in Winnemucca who appreciates an independent pharmacy and not a corporate pharmacy and a pharmacy who cares about their customers. You guys are awesome! Thank you!”
