Country Sunflower is a must-try local spot in Yerington, known for its friendly, personable, and attentive service. The food is absolutely delicious, amazing, and hands down better than any other in town for a tasty country breakfast. Favorites include the Herman's Scramble, the Herman Special, Peggy Special, and their burgers, which are some of the best around. The chicken fried steak is delicious, and their in-house made ranch, butter syrup, desserts, salsa, and French toast are all wonderful. They offer a decent selection of reasonably priced liquor and have improved their menu with yummy additions. Recently, they began serving dinner on Thursday through Sunday until 8 pm, which is also impressive. The atmosphere is very friendly, welcoming, and nice. It's a little hole-in-the-wall place with guaranteed filling food that comes highly recommended.

We had breakfast here this morning and it was so good! The homemade hashbrowns were fresh and delicious, and the Egg Hatch scramble was absolutely amazing. The service was attentive and friendly without being overbearing, and the whole atmosphere felt welcoming and comfortable. Definitely a spot we’ll be coming back to!
