I give it a two for pricing, other than that its a great little store! Checkers are kind and helpful! Sometimes the shelf is empty on the item i wanted but hey when you have every soul in yerington after the last tub of ice cream ya gotta expect to have some competition! There is always more in a day or so!

Only game in town and they know it , fruits and veggies you have to purchase daily or it goes foul by 3rd day , desperate need for update on whole store . Meat selection is dismal daily , price on most things reflects the fact they have no competition. Workers are great but not enough of them , cmon Raleys you can do Much better than just taking advantage of your patrons .

Checkers are very friendly and helpful! Baggers do a nice job of packing my groceries and a couple will even ask me if I need help to my car. The store is always clean . If Cindy, the manager is there, she will do everything she can to help shoppers find what they need! She is a very kind person and a hard worker. However, it is difficult to find things at times or they are often out of popular or advertised items . The prices are extremely high and difficult to pay even when you only need a few things .... especially when I can drive into Dayton and get them for half or less of what Raley's is charging . Sometimes I don't feel well enough to make the drive and have no choice but to shop there . It is difficult for a farming/retirement community that only has one major grocery store to shop at .

This is the only Raleys I’ve ever been to and the produce isn’t fresh. It’s always wilted looking and I never want to buy it. They are as always out of things that are on sale. The checkers never offer a different brand to substitute for what they are out of. I used to work for Raleys for many yrs so I know what Raleys expects for customer service and I just don’t see it at this particular Raleys store. I’ve never seen the mgr of this store as many times as I’ve been in this store. I was in there again thinking maybe they had changed but no. Lots of missing produce item. Pineapples were on sale but were old looking. Green beans were old looking as well. Nobody in bakery or deli to help me. It looked closed. This Raley’s in Yearington Nevada is very disappointing. Maybe they don’t care because this is the only big grocery store in this town.
Update on Jan 15 2025. I went in to the store just to get a package of chicken and was highly disgusted to see the filth in the meat case. I’m done going to this Raleys. Is this how Raleys operates now. You’d never see this at a Raleys before. The manager would be in BIG trouble! Pictures are below.

Prices are very high. Only grocery store in town so I guess it's ok to price gouge.

Nice chain store, but prices are a little high since it's remote with no competition.

It's the only supermarket in town unless you count the Family Dollar in Dollar General.
Prices are pretty high, but that's the case in almost every supermarket now.

Outrageous prices. Was just working in a nearby ski tourism town and the prices were cheaper there. Everything is about more than double what it would cost in Gardnerville. This Raleys needs to die so it can be replaced with something better for this community.

Yes, the prices are a bit higher then what you can find at most big box grocery stores in a major city but really, not so much more than what I've seen at other Raley's. And really, the alternative is that they could just close up shop, like so many do and then there'd be no option for this small town. So, for that, I'd have to say that I'm happy they're here in Yerington and that they carry as much as they do and provide services they offer like a full deli, bakery, florist and even a butcher. Some Raley's locations I've been to, like the one in Carson City don't even have that much. As far as dry goods and other shelf items go, I find that they are very well stocked and always have what I need. Even their beer, wine and whiskey selections are surprisingly good. That said, the produce here can be lacking at times or on the old side but really, I've found it just depends on when or what part of the week you're shopping here. Freshness can be had but it does go quick. And, what this Raley's lacks in produce, they very much make up for it in their friendly service and maybe I'm just old school but I really LOVE that they don't have self-check out stands. Those things drive me nuts and really appreciate being helped by real people.
