This is a nice hotel in a great location if you are exploring the national park area. The room was pretty basic but clean and easily accessible.Staff were friendly. It is within walking distance to a few restaurants.

This is a nice hotel in a sought-after location on the high street of a quaint fishing village with dozens of lobster restaurants. It's clean and tidy, and I have no complaints, really, other than the old wooden building seems to slope a bit so the floors are not level, and being wood, there is no sound-proofing between you and the inevitable 'herd of elephants' in the room above.Great views from the suite windows at the back and the food in the resturant was excellent. Breakfast is basic, but adequate.I'd stay there again!

This hotel is so OVERPRICED for what you receive. The whole place needs a major face-lift, especially the rooms. The bedding and draperies I am sure are from 1975 and the bed was so hard and uncomfortable. Also, felt like I was sleeping downhill because the floors are so slanted throughout the suite. They call it a suite - it's far from a suite! No air conditioning which I understand because it's an old hotel, but heat pumps have been on the market for quite some time - should definitely install in all rooms because it was grossly hot and humid. One fan does not give you any relief - sleeping was impossible. The bathroom was very tiny with the ceiling falling apart. For a so-called "suite", there should have been a seating area with a couch. Two beds and a table only. I have stayed in many hotels, and this is the first time I have written a review (good or bad), but this experience was so terrible that I couldn't help myself. To charge almost $200 for a one-night stay is ridiculous. The rate for this room should not be more than $90 and I would struggle to even pay that. I must also add that this is the first time ever staying at a hotel where they put through the full room charge (not just a deposit) on your credit card. I can only suspect that they had people check-in only to leave once they saw the state of their room. Guess, if they already have your money, chances are folks may choose to just stay. Believe me, had there been vacancies elsewhere, I would have left even without getting my money back. I would give zero stars if I could. Very unfortunate because the only two positives are great location and great ocean view. I never ate in the Restaurant but know others that did and comments on the food and service were good. Sorry, wish I could have given a better review of the property. Hopefully, the hotel owners will start to invest in their property, so they give their guests what they are paying for.

Always very kind people. We ate here twice on our recent trip to Fundy. We were in once while it was slow inside and the staff brought out a lobster to show the kids. They had a blast....which is why we went back... the food was also good. The garlic pasta - the burgers - were reasonably priced and yummy. A safe choice!

I had an amazing experience at Parkland Village Inn! The rooms were impeccably clean, and the level of service I received was truly exceptional. I highly recommend this inn for anyone seeking a combination of spotless accommodations and top-notch hospitality.

The parkland inn was fantastic. I stayed in the family suite with three others, and it was much bigger than we originally expected. We had a great view of the Bay of Fundy as well.

Rooms were quite old and dated. Owners seemed curt, stressed out and angry with life. Definitely not east coast hospitality. Food was below average.

It's an okay place for one night if you can't find anything else. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom had warm water, but that's about it. Extremely basic. What's missing: The "deluxe" room didn't have a fridge or a microwave. No ice machine (but ice available upon request). There is no elevator, and even ground floor rooms require taking 5 steps. There is no AC, just a small ceiling fan and one screened window. We barely got some air through that window since there was nothing to create air flow. Supposedly, they offer continental breakfast, but *not* during peak season in July and August. The exterior looked pretty run down and messy.Absolutely overpriced.

We stopped here to grab a room. The hotel is well kept and the staff are wonderful. We had a great stay here. The buildings history is a must to hear, placed at this site in 1949.The restaurant is on the main floor with a great menu. Koodo's to the cook, he did an amazing job.

Rooms were spacious. They advertised as ac rooms but they are not. They have fans. Service was good accommodated us as we were very late to check in.

Don’t go here! Awful customer service! So much for down east hospitality. Had to cancel our room with over 24 hours in advance because our son had a medical emergency and they wouldn’t even consider giving us a refund. I know cancellation policies exist for a reason but sometimes being a decent human being matters more.

Really nice spot in Alma. Bit dated but keep in mind it's very seasonal and I would expect it relies heavily on the neighboring Fundy National Park for business. We got the king size ocean view room with balcony. Excellent view of the dock directly in front of us and the open bay. Room was clean and everyone was super friendly, making us feel welcome. Small note is that there is a pressure balance problem in the shower where the water suddenly goes very hot or very cold, so be prepared. Tub is a jacuzzi but that doesn't work, but they don't advertise that it does, so it's a tub with shower. An awning over the balcony would have come in handy with the rain but it was nice to have either way. Having said that, we would stay there again for sure!

This is our second visit. Stayed 6 years ago while on our way to PEI. Room was fine. People were lovely but what stuck with me was the fried clams! Yum!Came back specifically for them this time on our way to Halifax. Not disappointed!?? The batter is light and crispy and whole belly clams! Can't get those in Ontario.Boyfriend had the seafood chowder and finished every bite.If you are near here, worth a stop!
