We found this place by chance when we saw a poster on the side of the highway because we were looking to take a break while a storm passed! What a great discovery! This place is a real gem! Multitudes of services brought together (restaurant, pub, occasional shows, art studio, gift shop, antique store, alpacas, etc.) in a building which offers a warm and friendly welcome. The team was also very friendly! Chocolate chip cookies are so delicious!

Visited this establishment as a favor for someone else and ended up utterly astonished by everything. I had heard raves abour their classic grilled cheese so decided to give it a go while my boyfriend had a coffee. We're both individuals who don't eat bread crust but found ourselves fighting over them because how delicious it all was! Also had two chocolat chip cookies which to die for, took 2 more to go ?!!!!! We left the establishment feeling like I've found a gold mine and sad i don't have it closer to where i live! Definitely going back soon to this hidden gem

Kevin, Cynthia and the whole gang are absolutely lovely! The Bored Whale Latte is delicious, as well as any of the baked goods they offer. The staff is incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful! What we thought would just be a simple coffee break on our road to the next town turned into a 2 hour visit. The antiques are honestly quite captivating, if you’re someone who enjoys the little treasures of the past, you’ll love this place. Their little boutique is also eye catching, they have a variety of items to look at; soap, pottery, jewelry, furry friend items, and more! (What seemed to be all local and handmade).The point I’m trying to make is: if you find yourself in the area/passing by, it’s a stop you should 100% make.
