“This ferry service deserves five stars!!Although the Grand Manan Adventure is a little bit better than the Grand Manan V, they are both OUTSTANDING and give a great ride. If you are prone to seasickness, you may not get seasick, as it is a smooth crossing. Even if there are waves, you usually do not feel them, as the boat is so big. There is sometimes a weird tipping feeling, but the ferry is not actually tipping, at least not too much. It may feel weird to walk when it is choppy, or tippy, so sit in their comfortable seats. There is a cafe on board, and there are clean restrooms, and and an amazing outdoor deck. There is a gift shop, and game room on the Grand Manan Adventure (there is a small gift shop on the Grand Manan V). Dogs are allowed on the outside deck, or in the car, not inside. There is room for trailers, trucks, and cars of any size. The staff are helpful with parking.$300 is ridiculous for a whale watch, right? Well, you won't be paying that on this ferry; you can see whales RIGHT FROM THE FERRY!!! They sometimes come up close. Seals, and dolphins can be seen as well, and are pretty common.If you have a fear of water, sit in the middle. This boat is safe, and in case of an emergency, there are islands close by. If you get seasick, you probably won't, but if the waves are going to be high, prepare for it just in case.”
