What a nice place! It was our second stay at Maison Dugas, the first time four years ago. Always the same quality and what about this magnificent warm and well-kept residence. The owner is very attentive and attentive to the needs of customers. In addition, he will be able to give you relevant information on the surroundings. Very clean and very cozy and well located. What happiness!❤️

Nice house with lots of antiques and family photos. The room was not spacious (but we had enough space) but for sleeping it is fine.Everything was very clean, excellent access, independent entrance.Very nice lounge to chat with other guests.Pleasant gazebo when the mosquitoes are not there. We will return.Rooms: Not immensely big, but for sleeping, it's perfect. There is enough room to move around and place our luggage without getting weighed down. Comfortable beds

Very user-friendly facilities! We stayed camping and enjoyed the gazebo, clean restrooms, dishwashing and grill stations. The grounds are small, but well wooded. And what about the beautiful private beach a few steps from the hostel!

Thumbs up for this hostel! The hosts are attentive and super friendly. The history of the family inn, the oldest in Canada, really very interesting. The house is a visit in time and a museum at the same time. Lover of books and period, you will be delighted. The site is super well organized with a large pavilion and 2 outdoor kitchens. It offers different types of accommodation, for backpackers or campers. We loved it, thank you!

Quiet room, well appointed with very comfortable bedding. Excellent welcome from the owners and great facility to exchange before our arrival! The availability of the kitchen is a big advantage! In addition, the price was very interesting for the period and the location! ! THANKS.

Too "youth hostel" for us. Came with children and grandparents, the shared toilets and coffee maker, the stairs, the lack of possibilities to put your things in the rooms, the promiscuity with all these other roommates as soon as you leave your room, led us to leave too quickly and often as possible the places. Big inconvenience especially not being able to close the window because of the air conditioner in place, very dirty (friends of dead insects of all kinds welcome!) and the surprise of being told that if the noise of the street bothers you, you have to turn on the air conditioner (extremely noisy and blowing icy air right on the bed! There are better things like white noise, calm and comfort).Very correct between friends and young couple but not adapted for the price to the comfort of a family compared to the hotels in the region. Disappointed. In addition, we were expecting other rooms in the main house in view of the photos we had received when booking, we had no response to our email question (no reception and proposal of clear services in person at our entrance on the premises) between the advertised price of the breakfasts and the price indicated in the book of the room, so could not test the breakfasts.

Fantastic Cabins - Highly Recommended.Stayed two nights in one of the cabins. Great place to stay. Staff were super friendly and could not be more helpful. The cabin was exceptionally clean with some lovely little touches like rugs, cushions and a Smart TV with Netflix and Roku. The cabin has everything you need, knives, forks, kitchen equipment, and there are the outside BBQs.We were both very impressed. The cycle paths start immediately next to the hotel and there is a great choice of restaurants and amenities within 2 mins drive. The local beaches are beautiful and the town of Caraquet is really well kept. We both agreed we will visit and stay here again.

Located on main road and easily found. Room was quiet, clean and comfortable as was the shared amenities. An old world charm exists and our young hosts Tess and James were magnificent. Complimentary tea and cafe were available.

You can get a way better place than this for the price. Tiny cabins with rock hard beds... no view of anything. Most of the propane tanks were empty so we had to hunt for one to cook on. The Gazebo is awesome. But when you can get a place with a water view that's even larger, the value is not here for us. Was very clean and quiet and is near the cycling trails so may be good if you don't mind a hard bed and no view.

I enjoyed it cause we were practically alone there.... I can only assume this place usually being jam packed which would be very annoying since the cottage are so close to each other, with 3 more lots for campers right in front. Wld be nice if all 5 cottage were rented by friends and family. There is a nice trail that leads to the water but it's filled with eating u alive mosquitos. There is a 30$ saving that can be made if the add on Facebook is mentioned which did not apply to us because we were 4 people????♀️ they told us over the phone they would give us the rebate and they never did plus we were off season...they said we could pay when we get there and when we got there my credit card had already been charged. My dishes were dirty and the cottage filled with spiders and ants.
