I have been to this Champlain branch last Saturday and today. Both times only one teller was working, with many people waiting, and leaving unattended.
Not sure if this is the branch nickle and dime policy or just a staff shortage.
There was another staff visible at the front today at the left desk, but she seemed content on the phone even though the lineup exceeded 7 persons.

Been standing in line here on Saturday for 40 min. One teller working, and other bank employees seem to be in the back. What the heck is going on at this bank!? It’s saturday! Expect people to want to do their banking on a saturday!

This is the worst bank I have dealt with in 40 years of doing business banking. Understaffed at ALL times, no sense of urgency EVER and never have more than 1 fully experienced teller at a time. I certainly would not recommend to anyone looking for a new bank.

I was in the Dieppe branch today for a money exchange and just want to say that the teller who served me was awesome!!! She was very friendly and helpful and was training a new employee at the time. Her skills as a trainer were also impressive. I did not get her name but 5* from me for sure.

Disgusted with this branch. Went in due to a check from my father being held, was deposited via BMO app. Biggest mistake of my life. The manager working the teller desk gave me a number to call. Could not tell me any information or attempt to resolve the funds being on hold. I call the number and it's for fraud management.We are both BMO account holders, and the check is flagged for fraud? Appalling customer service. Had the funds been moved via etransfer there would be no hold. Furthermore, had I deposited the check in person, no fraud team would have flagged this. They've frozen my banking account over nothing. Fraud team does not even answer the phone, just says to leave a voicemail with them and they'll call me back? I have mortgage payments and bills tied to this account. Cannot even begin to describe the disgust and rage I have towards BMO right now.I will be writing a letter to head office regarding this situation. If a manager at a branch cannot assist a client in a timely manner what is the point of employing branch reps? Such an egregious mistake with huge consequences. Do not ever use their check deposit option on the app. They don't care what the ramifications are, they don't care about your time or stress or bill payments, they just freeze your account. The worst banking experience I have ever had in my life.
