I’m a long time customer of Sephora mainly because of the helpful advice I usually receive in store but I won’t return to the Champlain store location again.
I was treated so poorly and dismissed by a ‘customer service’ rep there the afternoon of Dec 23rd, (female, dark hair, name I’ve not seen before starts with K, wish I could remember it)
She interrupted me when I was briefly explaining what I came in for by saying, ‘No, listen, I can’t give you a sample because…’
In a chain as large as Sephora, I find it difficult to believe that there are no samples of foundation in any brand to temporarily tide me over till my delayed online order comes in.
She ended up providing me a dime sized 1-day sample. She did this by walking past me with the tiny package in the air for me to grab, dismissing me as she went by.
No, eye contact, no smile, no ‘Happy holidays’. No, ‘Sorry I couldn’t help you more.’ No, ‘Thank you for choosing Sephora.’
Sephora please do better and train on customer service, not just beauty.
I’ll be shopping exclusively online from now on.

The very worst in person and telephone communication customer service that I've have ever experienced in my life. Very little life experience and people skills must be the prerequisites required for the general staff and the so-called store managers of the SEPHORA store in the *Champlain Mall* in Moncton, New Brunswick Canada.
3 limited in life experience managers working at the same time in a small store. Communication over the telephone matched the in person experience. Do yourself a favor and take advantage of the free shipping and order online. Save yourself from trying to communicate and the belittling and condescending attitudes of the staff and management. The online staff are very helpful and polite.

I was absolutely appalled at one member of your staff today! As this staff member was approaching me I started to ask her politely where I could find Clarins products. She charged right passed me (within arms distance), without even looking at me and completely ignored me. She headed directly to the storage room which was 3 feet away from where I was standing. I was completely taken by surprise and even tried again to get her attention by saying 'excuse me', but she once again ignored me!! UNACCEPTABLE! There was another member of your staff who approached me to ask if I needed assistance but by this time I was completely shocked and becoming angry. I explained to the assistant what just happened and she did try to assist me but by this time I had had enough. I left your store very upset, without purchasing anything (I was prepared to spend a substantial amount today), and I will never return. The person responsible knows fine well what she did and I hope that going forward all staff are asked to treat customers with respect.

Very disappointed. It's the holiday season and the store does not have any stock of Huda beauty palettes (no models) you have to order. In addition, no seller speaks French. Too bad I will buy elsewhere

I had a great experience on Black Friday at your store. I was looking for something specific for my GF which I had no clue what it was. Anna helped to find what I needed, promptly even though the store was so crowded. Very personable and professional.

Not happy with my experience here today. Was in to find a new fragrance for myself and some skin products for my mom. One staff was following me and watching me like I’m gonna steal something and three of them were just chatting at the very behind of the store. Nobody came to ask if I needed any help. Purchased couple items and there’s no sample given. Very disappointed.

I wish i could give zero stars because the way me and freinds got treated was so disappointing. I would never visit this sephora store again. The employees look at you like you are stealing something. Me and my freinds were just trying the sample because obviously i have to try something before putting my 60$ in buying that thing. And i was just looking at the product And one employee came to me and said directly to my face , “this product is not for you, you cannot try it, so just loook at something else” that was very rude. I dont know the name of that racist asian Lady, but she had tattoos all over her Arms and dark blue hair. They just do not follow their “zero tolerance policy for discrimination”. My experience this time was the worst. I would never visit again.

I had the most amazing Sephora experience yesterday. They took the time to find out what my needs were (I wasn’t even sure of them )and helped me pick amazing products having me leaving feel beautiful and confident ❤️

Lucia helped me with my Dior makeup haul and she never disappointed. Found me a wicked primer from HudaBeauty and it changed my face makeup game. So happy I had her as my sales representative!

I was always satisfied with Sephora services where ever I went. Recently this shop started making me feeling uncomfortable. The staff there change all the time and they look at you skeptically as if you are a thief, just because you are trying to find the good products. It's skin products not "wall painting", of course I'll try before buying!Some of them however are very helpful and have a welcoming smile.I love using Ilia products, however recently I wanted to try new products that cover the skin unevenness better. I returned them because after using them a few times my skin's texture worsened. A cashier and the manager (I assume) did not like the return. I had one of the creams in my hand bag that spilled to the side of the small box, so when she opened it and saw the product on one side she started turning her eyes. Then after a kind Young man helped me choose other products and I arrived at the cashier, the same lady started talking very meanly and rudely to a client right in front of me "Let me remind you of the return policy. It is one month, but you can't use half of the product then return it !"Well, that was a thing !Let me ask you :" have you ever opened a skin care product and found it full 100% ?". I did not use even a quarter of it, I did not like it anyways. But Thank you, lady! You made me save about 300 dollars that day.I decided not to take anything from that store and ordered my products directly from the Ilia website instead! And found other alternatives for other makeup products in other stores.Well, please do not hire mean people who do not know how to provide a good customer service !

I went in today with my friend and we were unsure of what to buy. We asked Alex for help and they were AMAZING🙌🙌. They were so kind and understanding and gave us their option on what to buy. 10/10 would recommend

We had a very bad experience at the Sephora in Champlain Mall. A Beauty advisor was racist towards my wife, something she had not previously experienced since immigrating to Canada. The lady was telling my wife not to touch products or use the makeup wipes but then when a customer who was not a visable minority did the same infront of the employee she said nothing.
Throughout our visit in the store my wife and son were constantly watched and appeared discriminated against because of our race. We had been to this store many times before but were shocked and very upset by this experience. The store manager Edurado talked to us and told us that because he was a visible minority and that because other people of colour shop in the store that there is no way anyone was racist. He did not offer a sincere apology but rather made excuses and tried to deny what we experienced.
We will never come back to this store again.
